Breaking news from Columbus, Ohio this morning as a fatal officer-involved shooting in Columbus, Ohio. One person dead
The victim is allegedly a 15-year-old black girl.

The protesters have continued to gather as the nation is still on edge after the Chauvin trial.
Someone at the scene of the Columbus, Ohio police-involved shooting mentions the 15-year old girl was armed with a knife and was involved in a fight.

So far we have limited information for this case as the Columbus Dispatch reported the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation has been called to investigate a fatal shooting by a Columbus police officer on the East Side that occurred just about the time the Derek Chauvin verdict was being announced.
Police received a 911 call at 4:35 p.m. about an attempted stabbing on the 3100 block of Legion Lane. The caller reported a female was trying to stab them, then the caller hung up.
Officers responded to the scene and at 4:45 p.m. an officer-involved shooting was reported.
Columbus Fire medics were cleared to come into the scene at 4:46 p.m., police said. The wounded person was transported in critical condition to Mount Carmel East hospital, where they were pronounced dead at 5:21 p.m., police said.
No one else was injured and no further information was immediately available.
Police said the initial call for a stabbing was received at approximately 4:30 p.m., with the shots fired call coming in at 4:45 p.m.

One of the points of this orchestrated violence is to reduce the police force by attrition. Once the cops are gone, Uncle Sam will hook us up with their own law enforcement officers.
Columbus went down the shitter kind of suddenly. I think it was a pretty nice small city about 15 years ago.

Why even bother patrolling black neighborhoods? Why bother patrolling! You couldn’t pay me enough to be a cop these days. When I got out of military as an air traffic controller, which I ended up hating when with the FAA back in the 80’s I thought about being a cop. I would have been termed a “lady cop” because I’m a small build but I could effectively kick my Marine brothers butts every time. Skinny but effective. My brother knew after a couple bouts to leave me the f alone.
