Interesting pics.
It is common in the Midwest to have large amounts of hail to come out of the high thunderstorms.
We had one in Graham TX in the mid 70’s just cover up the town with about a foot of hail, and drifts over two feet.
Happened during finals testing that year in May. Most windows in the old junior high were broken out and every house in some parts of town sustained damage.
Officially no tornadoes touched down but we had a new respect for the big storms.

If that sort of wet weather keeps up, maybe the Sahara region will go back to being a temperate region as it was before the comet strikes in 10,800 BC.

Wow.
That’s Biblical.
Now we know what Egypt looked like and what pharaoh had to deal with.

the should not let any of that fresh water flow to the sea.
The Dutch gain more land by keeping salt water out.
The saudis can gain more land by keeping more fresh water in.

How deep was it?
Well, my friend and I came upon a kaffiyeh laying on the ground.
I picked it up and there was a head under it.
We scraped the ice away from the nose and mouth and the head said, “ Better get shovels my friends, I am riding. a camel.”
