Horowitz: Court orders NY hospital to administer ivermectin to COVID patient who began breathing on his own after one dose
The Blaze ^ | April 13, 2021 | Daniel Horowitz

Posted on 04/14/2021 9:21:03 PM PDT by CheshireTheCat

...John Swanson, 81, of Genesee County, New York, like so many elderly Americans, was given no legitimate preventive or early treatment options for this now very predictable inflammatory response to COVID-19. He wound up on a ventilator at the United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia and, according to the court affidavit, was "on death's doorstep." The Buffalo News reports that, according to attorney Ralph C. Lorigo, Swanson was given one dose of ivermectin and began breathing on his own, was then taken off the ventilator, and began to show great progress. However, the hospital, with no other legitimate treatment options to offer, refused to give him follow-up doses.

On April 2, state Supreme Court Justice Frederick J. Marshall ordered the hospital to administer the follow-up doses at the request of Swanson's wife.

As of late Friday afternoon, his attorneys described Swanson as "stable."

"I definitely think the Ivermectin is helping him," Sandra Swanson told The Buffalo News, but she said she is upset and frustrated that hospital officials would not allow her to visit with her husband.

"They held the phone to his ear, and I read him a long list of people who are praying for him every day, about 20 people," she said. "But I need to see him." There have been at least two other instances where New York judges had to force local hospitals to administer lifesaving treatment to those who appeared on their way to death.

It is shocking how 13 months into this pandemic, the medical profession has nothing to offer but a ventilator, keeping loved ones away from seeing the patient, and blocking the only known lifesaving treatments....

Are you taking any vitamin supplements?

I only had a sore arm with my first Moderna shot. I had nothing at all with the second dose. I heard that you get flu like symptoms either with the first round or the second, but it didn’t work out that way for me, nor my husband.

We do take our vitamins and supplements every day though. I wonder if that is why, or if it’s just happenstance.

The Grand Wizard of Superstition, Tony Fauci, has killed more people in the US in the last year than all the foreign wars in US history. He belongs in jail, not in the government.

Our daughter, her husband, and our grand daughter, all got COVID early this year. Their treatment? “Take a pain killer if it hurts, quarantine for two weeks, and come back if you need hospitalization.” All the while, there are demonstrated low cost treatments available, but they’re prohibited by the FDA and CDC. The FDA and CDC are practicing witchcraft, not medicine.

Same with me. First shot pain in arm for several days. Before the second shot some friends told me to make sure I was well hydrated and not to take Tylonal before the shot. Followed their advice and had no sideaffect except a bit of a sore arm.

Yes, the pediatrician got all over my child and me for having our masks down after she entered the exam room where we were waiting for her.

I thought she was smart, now she just comes across as a tool. Respect lost is difficult to recapture.

Horse paste. Perfectly fine. I’m on it prophylactically.

Tell your doc you’re going to Africa in 3 weeks for a month, and want HCQ prophylactically to prevent malaria. I got mine.

That's a good rebuttal by the FLCCC to the incomplete WaPo article. Thanks for posting that link. They nailed it!
Rather than completely taking the recommendation of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) at face value, it is our hope that journalists will begin to raise questions around the sudden restrictive approach that the agency is taking in requiring an unprecedented number of expensive clinical trials before recommending a drug for treating COVID-19. Their actions set a precedent that will likely prevent any drug from being repurposed unless it presents a high enough profit margin to make the additional clinical trials worth the investment from a corporate sponsor.

In other words, trials are quite expensive making the approval of drugs to be first based on their ability to turn a profit before being submitted for approval. The original intent of the approval, their ability to safely provide a viable public health solution, falls to second place.

Indeed, every action by government in the past thirteen months points to them putting Profit First, Patient Care Second. The evidence is very strong that an early recommendation by NIH and CDC for the I-MASK protocol would likely have saved a lot of lives.

I do have to ic water with quinine for cramps. I’ll drink that throughout the day. Can’t do the vit c though. Stomach has ulcers and it rips me up terrible if I take it, and I have other issues that prevent me from being ab,able, to take time release to bypass the stomach ulcers unfortunately

Tha KS. I got my ivermectin fro tractor supply. Got enough. For several months worth of doses, and enough for family if they should get covid too. I take it as a prophylaxis, so I’m not sure if what I have is covid or not, I suppose one can still, bet sick with taking ivermectin, but it will just be .ess severe. The lungs are OK right now (I also have inhaled steroid and Albuterol, and also a nebulizer with Albatros inhalation if needed,, incase it does develop further I. Lungs too, so I’ve got a number of defenses against it if it turn s out to be covid.

Yep. The way the medical profession has acted throughout this virus has been shameful. Which is precisely why we shocked up on ivermectin, eccg (I think that is the name, it’s green tea extract, supposed to be an ionosphore too), and tonic water, as well as asthma meds for the lungs if things go way south.

“I do NOT understand why they will give the first dose, but you gotta get a freaking JUDGE to allow a subsequent dose!”

The patient was on a vent. I believe she was in ICU and a DR there had the Ivermectin administered. Once she started to recover she was moved out of ICU to a ward and that's when the 2nd DR denied the use of Ivermectin till he had a legal gun held to his eff’ng head.

Dirty Mengele SOB probably responsible for many deaths. Gets the .gov bonus for covid deaths/hospitalizations to the tune of several thousands of $$$$. Who ever he was it wouldn't surprise me if the woman's family had a little talk with him.

In all vitamin C Ascorbic acid - and all amino acid protocols, we neutralize all acids with baking soda.

The most basic form of electrolyte drink on an empty stomach consists of:

1 tsp lemon juice or AC vinegar
1 capsule, opened, of Vit C (powder)500 or 1,000 milligrams
1/4 tsp magnesium powder

add 1/4 cup water more or less and stir.
(best is distilled, second best filtered or bottled) tap water NOT recommended because of chlorine and/or fluoride

Now add about 1/8-1/4 tsp baking soda. Will foam like crazy. Stir. Add 8-12 oz more water. If any acidity remains, add more baking soda to get to neutral. Sweeten with whatever you want.

This may help you.

An alternative is to take fat-soluble vitamin c, ascorbyl palmitate. Will post on this.

Special Update on Ascorbyl Palmitate: The Fat-Soluble Form of Vitamin C
Fat-soluble versus water-soluble vitamins

Vitamins are either fat-soluble or water-soluble. Water-soluble vitamin C and the B complex are excreted in urine, if taken in excess. The fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, K accumulate within the fat stores of the body and within the liver.

Although most animals produce their own vitamin C, humans, primates and guinea pigs have lost this ability. Since your body can’t manufacture it, vitamin C must be obtained through diet and supplementation.
Fat-soluble vitamin C

Ascorbyl palmitate is a fat-soluble form of vitamin C, which is better absorbed than ascorbic acid, the water-soluble form. It offers all the benefits of ascorbic acid, plus it won’t flush out of the body as quickly as ascorbic acid, and it is able to be stored in cell membranes until the body needs it.

Ascorbyl palmitate is an amphipathic molecule, which means one end is water-soluble and the other end is fat-soluble. This dual solubility allows it to permeate the extra-cellular aqueous environment of the cell and the interior cellular environment, as well. When it is incorporated into the cell membranes of human red blood cells, ascorbyl palmitate protects them from oxidative damage and also helps protect vitamin E (a fat-soluble antioxidant) from oxidation by free radicals.1

Ascorbyl Palmitate has powerful antioxidant properties, helps maintain normal connective tissue, may reduce the risk of certain cancers as well as coronary artery disease, and helps in the healing of wounds.
What else does vitamin C do?

Vitamin C is an important weapon in your immune system’s arsenal against bacteria and viruses. It also helps protect unsaturated fatty acids from being oxidized, therefore protecting their potency. A protective vitamin essential to over-all body health, vitamin C is especially important for neutralizing free radicals. It also:

helps in the production of collagen and maintenance of healthy skin and blood vessels
promotes the healing of scar tissue and fractures
gives strength to blood vessels
helps prevent and treat the common cold
promotes healthy teeth and gums
helps the body utilize iron and folic acid
supports the thymus gland
enhances T-cell production, increasing resistance to viral and bacterial infections, and some allergies
helps increase interferon levels
aids in the absorption of iron and the formation of red blood cells
protects blood lipids from peroxidation2
reduces the effects of some allergy-producing substances

A deficiency of vitamin C may result in bleeding gums, swollen or painful joints, slow healing of wounds and fractures, the tendency to bruise or bleed in any part of the body, scurvy, and cardiovascular disease.
Advantages of ascorbyl palmitate

One of the advantages of taking a nutritional supplement that contains ascorbyl palmitate and ascorbic acid is that you may require a smaller dosage because ascorbyl palmitate doesn’t flush out of your system as quickly as water-soluble vitamin C. More importantly, exciting new research done on laboratory animals and in vitro indicates that ascorbyl palmitate:

is a preventative against stomach cancer and colon cancer 3 4
reduces the toxic effects of acetaminophen better than ascorbic acid 5 6 7
stimulates collagen synthesis at lower doses than ascorbic acid 8 9
is a powerful free radical scavenger 10

Most supplements contain little or no ascorbyl palmitate because it is much more expensive than regular ascorbic acid. Because both the fat-soluble and water-soluble forms of vitamin C each has unique properties, it makes sense to obtain our supplemental vitamin C from both forms. A well designed vitamin C or multi-nutrient supplement should contain at least 25% of its vitamin C in the fat-soluble, ascorbyl palmitate form.
