What are we willing to die for?
Should American soldiers die in the Middle East or risk their lives in the South China Sea or should they take on drug pushers and people smuggling criminals on the Mexican border?
Jesus and loved ones. Maybe for a just cause.

NO.
BUT IT’S CERTAINLY WORTH RISKING YOUR LIFE
TO MAINTAIN IT.
My children. Back in the day my country but that was when we could see the enemy and line up and go to battle. Today the battle lines are not the same.

The whole of the Afghanistan is not worth the stubbed toe of an American soldier.
America is about to find out WHY freedom is worth dying for.
Too bad the Germans didn’t listen to him.
Germany thinks Afghanistan is worth staying in.
Germany thinks nothing. It is a geographic location and is not capable of thinking. Germany’s leaders want to stay in Afghanistan. They are owned by the Deep State and are not concerned about the welfare of their own citizens.
By “deep state” you mean whom?
Seems to me that the deep state in the US has strong ties to the EU, which is controlled by the German elite, making them the owners in question. Note that suddenly the seeming approval of Berlin is sought upon the election of new US presidents.
The Deep State is a global organization that got its big start following WWII (IMF, World Bank U.N. etc). They think the can control the world. The Chinese have a different idea.
A different idea about how to control the world? Why then was “(g)rant recognition of Red China; admission of Red China to the UN” the seventh communist goal for the USA?
The UN from its start was Marxist, of course, taking its charter right from the USSR constitution (and by extension, sharing commonalities with China’s constitution). The EU, though, contains the birthplace of all this leftism, and has “respect for the principles of the UN Charter” written into its treaties/constitution, bespeaking a desire to resurrect a certain empire reputed as a world ruler throughout human history.
