President Trump may be back in office very soon. No, not as President but as Speaker of the House.
There is increasing speculation in Washington, D.C., that former President Donald Trump may be planning to play a major role in the upcoming 2022 congressional midterm elections, with a potential payoff that would greatly impact the future of President Biden’s term in office.
If Trump is successful in helping the Republican Party gain back a majority in the House, something that is likely given the GOP’s shockingly strong performance in the 2020 election cycle, a new Republican majority in the House could install Trump as Speaker of the House.

Got to win the house or he is wasted in a minority
Got to have the full support of the GOP for the speakership
The upside is very tempting. Trump would have to weigh the downside. If he lost in any of the ‘risk’ items, what does that do for a possible 2024 run?
Let’s see. Speaker of the House is third in line to be President. So, if Biden were judged as mentally incompetent and Harris were impeached for her past corruption, then Trump could become President. If Trump is Speaker of the House then he could implement impeachment proceedings against anyone who stood in his way.
What a charming prospect. Karma is a bitch.
Imagine, hundreds of insane Democrats running around with their hair on fire! Would be an epic scene. Perhaps we might supply them with a couple of 3 story ladders for them to jump off of.
How delicious would it be if a new Speaker Trump decided a recently re-elected Pelosi would NOT be seated? HA HA!!
I agree, but I think the biggest hurdle is that I seriously doubt President Trump wants it. Getting back into office means having to work within the parameters of that office and having to perform all the required busywork of that office. There’s a tremendous amount of nonsense he has to put up with while in a public office that all goes away if he operates as a private citizen.
I definitely believe he’s not done working to make America great again. I just think he’ll do so without the chains of government service.
