For the young ones… and the mature, as needs be…
Many people marry for the wrong reasons and end up single, often with obligations, and holding a cynical view of love and relationships. But a short, simple test can help guide you toward what a successful marriage may look like.
If you and your potential spouse can both answer “yes” to most or all four of these questions, then you may end up with a great marriage. Of course, there are no guarantees. Life always has a way of surprising us.
Ask yourself each question. Can you say yes to each?
1) If this person stays just as he or she is for the rest of his or her life, would that be OK?
2) Would you like to become more like this person?
3) If you were to have a child with someone, would you want to have a child with this person?
4) If the child grew up to be exactly like this person, would that be OK?
I once got a call from my wife. She was at the home of a friend whose daughter was going to be married in one week to her high school sweetheart. She was visiting her mother, crying and upset, unsure whether the marriage was a good idea....

That is, “lost all respect...”
My wife is really in the super low part of the Fun Zone, but I appreciate the graphic. She is not drama and she’s great to be around, but she sure doesn’t get done up in any fashion.
that would be plastic surgery... 😁
Wow, good job.
I have always said you should not marry someone unless you can’t live without them.
I do not think it is your choice. Your son should be the one to make that one not you.

I agree the simplest answer is go to a local bar, pick any woman out, give her your car keys, wallet, CC's, atm card and house keys, walk down the street , with nothing but the clothes on your back and send her 1/2 you paycheck for 20 years. Youll save attorney fees AND child support.
Sooner or later. If a marriage works. You’re a TEAM. A REAL COUPLE
OH. AND. it’s all about HER !
Right men ?
I agree.
My parents were married for more than 50 years ago. They didn’t have anything close to perfect happiness, but they had commitment and partnership and a good time, a lot of the time.
I’m okay with what one can reasonably expect in this entropic universe, too.
Good!
Yep. Mine almost made it to 55. At their 50th anniv, I toasted them saying something like the years fly by, but the days can be long. It’s true. Wish I could remember the poem I wrote.
I find the years long, too.
You are absolutely right. A million women could tell a young girl she cannot change a man and she will still think she, and she alone, is special enough to make him change.
It’s no different from the 100 million who have died as a demonstration that communism cannot work. The advocates still think they can make it work when everyone else has failed.

Can she tie a knot in a cherry stem with her tongue? If so, marry her!
Hot-crazy matrix.
No woman is below a 4 crazy.
Sounds like her notch count is...37.
