The philosopher Michel Foucault, a beacon of today’s “woke” ideology, has become the latest prominent French figure to face a retrospective reckoning for sexually abusing children.
A fellow intellectual, Guy Sorman, has unleashed a storm among Parisian “intellos” with his claim that Foucault, who died in 1984 aged 57, was a paedophile rapist who had sex with Arab children while living in Tunisia in the late 1960s.
Sorman, 77, said he had visited Foucault with a group of friends on an Easter holiday trip to the village of Sidi Bou Said, near Tunis, where the philosopher was living in 1969. “Young children were running after Foucault saying ‘what about me? take me, take me’,” he recalled last week in an interview with The Sunday Times
People who have developed this sort of sexual orientation feel disconnected with Christian society and desire to radically change it.
I believe a large number of homosexuals became homosexuals because of early sexual abuse by a member of the same sex, with the actions leading to climax, which must make that abusive behavior the preferred thing to be sexually stimulatable.
I do also, however, believe some people, primarily women, become homosexual later, due to severe abuse by members of the opposite sex.

If ‘science’ invented a pill or shot that, if you took it, would ‘cure’ homosexuality, I wonder just how many would take it..........................

Very interesting comments. My older brother was a homosexual, died in 1992 at age 38. An extremely bright individual, Tom was a national merit scholarship finalist in 1972, got a full scholarship to Georgetown University. This is after 12 years of rigorous Catholic schools, he attended Regis Jesuit high school. (renowned all-boys school) His proclivity came from nowhere; I can’t think of another single person in either side of my parent’s family, who is ‘gay’. As far as I know he suffered no early sexual abuse. He ‘came out’ at about age 18, though indications of it were pretty apparent, upon retrospect, when I think about our upbringing and early life. Why is a mystery, my younger brother Dan and I are both strictly hetero. My conclusion is that he was either somehow born that way or gained the proclivity at a very early age, say less than 2-3 years old. Not sure which or either, but I would love to know. Any thoughts?

I can assure you that this is a massive problem within academia.
Because it is wrong they build massive intellectual edifices to rationalize the misconduct.
For the radical leftists this is a multi-axis win as they get to exercise dominance and control while also upsetting the apple cart of established western values and social mores, and inculcates their perversions and defiance on subsequent generations.

Homosexuality is a behavior
Behaviors are complex. We used to study this stuff in basic psychology.
Imprinting is one major factor. There has to be a readiness and an incident. Kids are being exposed to all kinds of crap theses days in stead of good things.
Behaviors can be modified, but it is not easy. Sometimes I think only God can change behaviors.
Imprinting? tell me more...there could well have been an incident, but I don’t know about it; as far as readiness? that seems to be a synonym for proclivity.
