Look, for those of you sitting there thinking, hey, Michelle was asked the question, she just answered it, just stop it. First of all, Michelle Obama doesn’t just willy nilly walk onto a set or pick up a ringing phone and talk to reporters unprepared. She and Jenna Bush unquestionably communicated prior to that interview, so that Michelle could carefully prepare answers to the questions she knew would be asked. It is entirely likely, in fact, that Michelle herself actually suggested that line of questioning so that she could roll out that specific answer. In fact, it is entirely likely that that specific Q and A was the motivating reason for the interview to be held.
That is how these interviews work for Democrats.

Some people prefer ending up in a sealed plastic tent in isolation ward of hospital and dying a lonely & horrible death over taking the vaccine. If the vaccine will reduce your chances of requiring such hospital treatment, the choice is obvious for anyone except the flat earthers.

Of course we can’t really answer questions of safety and efficacy because there’s no data and the mRNA injection is experimental.
The death rate of CoVid is still very low especially among low risk groups.
If the mRNA treatment was shown to have a higher risk of hospitalization and death than getting the Covid, would you take the mRNA injections?
What if it turns out that the mRNA injection induces an immune response against host organ tissue? What if it turns out that the mRNA, spike protein production and antibodies increases blood clots, is that ok?
What if the antibodies produced by the MRNA injection result in natural selection of more contagious and resistant strains of coronaviruses? What if those vaccinated select for, stimulate and shed more resistant strains to other people?
What if there are alternative medications that can kill the virus without stimulating an autoimmune reaction?
Other than nefarious and self serving financial reasons, I don’t understand the push for this mRNA injection when the morbidity and mortality for Covid is still low.
The push for vaccine is elementary, Dr Watson.
The economy is being handcuffed by covid-19.
Thanks to president Trump’s warp speed push for the vaccine, I am guessing a million American lives may have been saved for older Americans with comorbidities. He deserves 2 Nobel peach prizes. No person was responsible in history for saving so many lives.
After reading the horrible treatment in hospitals for seriously sick covid-19 patients, I have taken my chances with the vaccine. In no shape or form I want to be isolated inside an air-tight plastic tent connected to a ventilator, and die the loneliest death imaginable.
With less than 0.002% death rate for 90 million vaccinated Americans, I would much rather chance that death with my spouse and kids holding my hands and comforting me.
