Experts suggested a spate of approaches that Trump may take in a hypothetical 2024 White House race if he and Biden were to face a rematch and even if the economy was restored.
“If the economy is booming, he can always find other wedge issues to run on. He can rally voters by continuing to claim Democrats stole the election, he can point to various cultural excesses on the left, and he can say there might be Supreme Court justices who will retire and they need to be replaced with conservatives. And the Biden administration and congressional Democrats will no doubt have missteps that Trump can highlight,” Kevin R. Kosar, a resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, said.

The economy will show improvement from the states opening back up. But won’t be like it was before corona happened. If he runs in 2024 Trump will have the numbers to show how well his economy is better. If it wasn’t for corona our economy would be so good they would not have been able to create enough ballots to swing the election.

I remember having debates against Leftists a couple of years ago about the Trump Economy versus the Obama Economy. They, of course, would claim the Obama Economy was better...so I’d say something like “I can name 50 things that Trump did to boost the economy, starting with energy; Can you name anything Obama did?”
Never once did they provide an answer.

The author thinks that the economy is booming because Biden has solved the coronavirus crisis in the last 35 days. The delusion runs strong in this one. I bet she calls 911 when the restaurant is out of what she wanted to order.

Given all the money sloshing around US and primed for massive inflation and flat wage increases with limited employment opportunities b/c labor costs and regulation. All that is missing are Leisure suits, disco, and Farah Fawcett hairstyles....
With $6 a gallon gasoline,tax increases and 30 million wetbacks having been given Green Cards it’s hard to imagine the economy being in good shape in ‘24.
Trump can run on jobs and freedom from basement dewelling.
My friends-I thought the Bill Clinton economy would go the way of Jimmy Carter’s. Didn’t happen.
