'We are flying blind': Fauci was warned in March 2020 of potential false positives in COVID-19 tests

White House coronavirus adviser and longtime federal infectious disease expert Anthony Fauci was warned as early as March of 2020 that tests widely used to diagnose COVID-19 could suffer from high levels of false positive results, a problem that was confirmed by the World Health Organization earlier this year.

The warning was given in a Mar. 22, 2020 email to Fauci from Sin Hang Lee, the director of the Milford Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory in Milford, Conn. The message was part of a large batch of emails and other records recently obtained by Judicial Watch and the Daily Caller News Foundation.

In Lee's message, he warns Fauci and several other doctors: "It has been widely reported in the social media that the RT-qPCR test kits used to detect SARS- CoV-2 RNA in human specimens are generating many false positive results and are not sensitive enough to detect some real positive cases, especially during convalescence."....

Fauci is clearly a study in what is WRONG with administrative medicine. I find non clinical administrators and clinical administrators who no longer practice to be the biggest problem in medicine

I believe I read somewhere Fauci didn’t even maintain a license to practice medicine. Anyone who wishes to lead in medicine should be at bedside at least 50% of the time to actually understand what is happening in the rapid changes that come to medicine.

Curious minds should at least be asking the question: What are these homicidal maniacs up to with this perpetual scaredemic? Obviously they want everyone to take lots of deep nasal ‘tests’ and get lots of jabs, all the while telling you it’s in everyones’ best interest. When I looked up Fauci a few months ago, the Wikipedia entry indicated that he graduated from Cornell Medical School in 1966, then did internship and residency at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. In 1968 he went to a government payroll as a researcher and has pretty much been doing research since then. It seems he also published several papers in medical research.

I can't tell from any records if he actually treated patients since 1968. There was some reference to him observing treatment of EBOLA patients in 2012 or so.

So, in summary, he has been a professional lab rat since 1968, and published papers in medical journals. Is that the same as being a doctor, as most people associate the term? Probably not.

We were never told the percentage of false positives. That would detract from the Number of Cases, a false number that was used to establish public policy on opening, masks, travel.

Anyone who tested positive was considered a Case. That includes the number of false positives which were never revealed.

This omission was deliberate and intentional.

Ditto! I’m sick of the “experts” peeing down my back and telling me it’s raining.

If I should wake up not feeling well one morning, there is no way in God’s green earth that I’m going to get tested for Covid. I will simply take care of myself and be done with it.

Aside from those who “must get tested for work” (and I’m on a leave of absence from work because I refuse to), I simply do not understand people who get tested out of curiosity, or because of “possible” exposure, or those who drag themselves to a doctor or a clinic every time they’re unwell. That mindset is simply alien to me. If I don’t feel well, I’ll stay home. The last place I’d want to be is out and about, anyway. But I know people who are just the opposite - I just don’t “get” them, at all...

A friend in her late eighties jokes that between her and her daughter, they contributed to 6 or 7 separate “cases” of Covid for the statistics during the same several weeks - even though they never had any symptoms. She totally understands what’s going on, and is only ticked off that she had to spend so much time isolated at home when she wasn’t sick.
