One thing I am surprised they overlooked is that the Potatoheads are brown. That might be okay as they are Potatoes of Color, but not all humans are brown and neither are all potatoes. How can a white or Asian or American Indian or black kid identify with a brown potato? Let’s get with the times, Hasbro.

Potatoes are neither male nor female, so these things don’t represent potatoes, but people, and their purpose is to teach kids that same sex parents are perfectly normal.
