Criticism was rampant following comments by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) suggesting power outages in Texas due to a winter storm and accompanying low temperatures were evidence of why America needs her Green New Deal.
“The infrastructure failures in Texas are quite literally what happens when you *don’t* pursue a Green New Deal,” she tweeted without evidence.
“Long-term we must realize these are the consequences of inaction,” AOC (D-NY) added.
Her comments come even as Texas governor Greg Abbott has placed blame on the power grid failures in-part on frozen wind turbines.

She’s busy raising money for Texas. 4 million so far. She’s definitely got an agenda.
Some Freeper (I forget who) sarcastically said this who mess could have been avoided if only they had installed electric heaters in the windmills.
I think I will forward that idea to OAC.
AOC and the vile, cruel Governor Cuomo have banned fracking in New York , have not permitted the construction of any pipelines and have forced the closing of the Indian Point nuclear power plant which generates up to 25% of the electricity used by New York City. In about a year brownouts and rolling blackouts will be common in the New York metropolitan area. The people suffer when schizoid people come to power.

This is what happens when a state lets people from another state dictate their agenda to them.

I must admit I enjoyed the world when it was much smaller. When one in New York didn’t know we had windmills in Texas or the time when it took several months for one to learn of a tragedy in another place. Now days we must have the opinion of others instantly.
There is no more quiet in the world. No real peace here but for a moment here and there. It’s hard to feel kindness for such persons as aoc, they bray and stomp so often one wishes they would stay in their own stall and enjoy the weather in their own world.

Kind of funny that she is raising money for Texas, but doesn’t do squat for her district.

She has millions of followers on social media. She spouts a stream of (semi)consciousness to her followers. Does she ever listen to anything, or simply spew.
The frozen windmills and gas pipelines reflect more on Texan ineptitude than on any method of energy generation.

Nothing to do with Texas. She had an opportunity to publicly humiliate Ted Cruz, who tried to have her murdered.
