We all know that something morally grotesque is swallowing liberal America. Almost no one wants to risk talking about it out loud.
Every day I get phone calls from anxious Americans complaining about an ideology that wants to pull all of us into the past. I get calls from parents telling me about the damaging things being taught in schools: so-called antiracist programs that urge children to obsess on the color of their skin. I get calls from people working in corporate America forced to go to trainings in which they learn that they carry collective, race-based guilt — or benefit from collective, race-based virtue. I get calls from young people just launching their careers telling me that they feel they have no choice but to profess fealty to this ideology in order to keep their jobs. Almost no one who calls me is willing to go public. And I understand why. To go public with what’s happening is to risk their jobs and their reputations.
But the hour is very late. It calls for courage. And courage has come in the form of a woman named Jodi Shaw.
Jodi Shaw is a divorced mother of two children, a lifelong liberal and an alumna of the college.
In October 2020, after Shaw felt that she had exhausted all her internal options, she posted a video on YouTube, blowing the whistle on, what she says, is an atmosphere of racial discrimination at the school. “I ask that Smith College stop reducing my personhood to a racial category. Stop telling me what I must think and feel about myself. Stop presuming to know who I am or what my culture is based upon my skin color. Stop asking me to project stereotypes and assumptions onto others based on their skin color.”

That is often very true, but that isn’t the case here. She is thoroughly repulsed by what’s going on at the college and left on principle.

At 60% of the US population we white folks aren't going anywhere anytime soon. Even here in Commiefornia whites still make up 35-40% of the population. I can count on one hand the number of times someone has given me flak just for being white. I'm not worried.

I find that a really good insult can use fancy old words that they have to look up because they paid attention attention to the latest orthodoxies rather than polishing their English. Something like pusillanimous, vexing, prevaricating, etc. that they’ll have to explain to the Equal Opportunity HR person implementing this garbage.

That is true in 2021 and I hope you are right long-term. But the subjugation of the majority by a small minority of insane kooks is very worrying. The heat is being turned up on the pot and the frog is lolling away in the tepid water. When does the frog finally wake up and do something?

1. Classification: I'd agree we've reached that stage. People are encouraged to think in terms of whites vs. nonwhites everywhere.
2. Symbolization: "When combined with hatred, symbols may be forced upon unwilling members of pariah groups: the yellow star for Jews under Nazi rule, the blue scarf for people from the Eastern Zone in Khmer Rouge Cambodia." I'm not sure what the equivalent of the yellow star would be for whites. Certainly I've never been forced to wear anything denoting my whiteness.
3. Discrimination: "The powerless group may not be accorded full civil rights, voting rights, or even citizenship." While affirmative action is discrimination against whites, nobody is being deprived of voting rights or citizenship for being white.
4. Dehumanization [of whites]: Happens in ivory towers of academia but not in centers of government power. IOW the folks dehumanizing whites are not the ones with the power to actually carry out a genocide.
5. Organization: "Special army units or militias are often trained and armed. Arms are purchased by states and militias, often in violation of UN Arms Embargos, to facilitate acts of genocide. States organize secret police to spy on, arrest, torture, and murder people suspected of opposition to political leaders. Special training is given to murderous militias and special army killing units." Not happening. While BLM may riot and attack whites there's no evidence to suggest the government is arming them. If BLM and Antifa were supplied with government arms there would be a lot more dead white people.
6. Polarization: "Targeted groups are disarmed to make them incapable of self-defense, and to ensure that the dominant group has total control." Attempts at "gun control", while unconstitutional, do not target whites specifically. They target every law-abiding person in need of self-defense. As for "Laws may forbid intermarriage or social interaction" I have definitely not found that to be the case, as I married an Asian without anyone trying to stop my wedding on the grounds that I would be contaminating him with my evil white genes.
7. Preparation: "Plans are made for genocidal killings. National or perpetrator group leaders plan the “Final Solution” to the Jewish, Armenian, Tutsi or other targeted group “question.” They often use euphemisms to cloak their intentions, such as referring to their goals as “ethnic cleansing,” “purification,” or “counter-terrorism.” They build armies, buy weapons and train their troops and militias." Not happening.
8. Persecution: "Death lists are drawn up... Their property is often expropriated. Sometimes they are even segregated into ghettoes, deported into concentration camps, or confined to a famine-struck region and starved. They are deliberately deprived of resources such as water or food in order to slowly destroy them. Programs are implemented to prevent procreation through forced sterilization or abortions. Children are forcibly taken from their parents. The victim group’s basic human rights become systematically abused through extrajudicial killings, torture and forced displacement. Genocidal massacres begin." This isn't happening either.
My observations from the People's Republic of California, which is Ground 0 for so many leftist schemes. If even California, which is on the fast-track to extreme leftism, doesn't display most of the steps to genocide things are likely much better in other parts of the country.
