The History

The ISU-152 was one of the Soviet Union’s heaviest self-propelled guns during World War II. The Russians designed and built the ISU-152 in 1943, partially in response to the increasingly heavy tanks and tank destroyers Nazi Germany fielded at the time.

Not much of a piece. The Germans feared the T-34 more because it was a damn good tank and the Russians produced them in such large numbers.

This vehicle wasn't very good at being a tank destroyer and without it the Russians still had huge inventories of artillery.

Contrary to this piece the Red Army was mobile and much more mechanized than the German Army. Largely due to the vast numbers of Studebaker trucks and other vehicles we shipped them under Lend-Lease.

Surprising small amount of click bait.

I wouldn't have bothered to click to it had not a resident "Karen" whined about it.

Interesting article, 3 ads, no pop ups.

The Slo-Mo guys filmed the artillery version in live fire. Quite impressive!
