The hashtag “#AOClied” began trending on social media following claims by critics that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) wasn’t in the Capitol building during the riots in which she purportedly feared for her life.
In an Instagram Live video earlier this week, AOC (D-NY) told an elaborate story about the day of the riots.
It was a tale that encompassed accusing Republicans of using the same tactics as those who commit sexual assault and questioning if a Capitol police officer had purposefully put her at risk.
Ocasio-Cortez said she hid in her office bathroom to remain safe.
“I thought I was going to die,” she said, emotionally recalling the events she experienced. “I have never been quieter in my entire life.”
“If this was the journey that my life was taking, that I felt that things were going to be OK,” AOC recalled, wiping tears from her eyes. “I had fulfilled my purpose.”

Several critics began to question AOC’s Capitol riots story and just how close she was to being the victim of an attempted murder.
Fox News host Tucker Carlson said Ocasio-Cortez video tale was about “the only subject she really cares about – herself.”
“Wallowing around in Lake Me like it’s interesting to anybody but her. Narcissism on parade,” he lamented. “The perfect symbol of a culture dying from self-involvement.”
“We’ve said that before and we’ve laughed as we did,” Carlson added. “But actually it’s not funny. People will believe this crap. Some already do.”

You should all recall her photo charade at a parking lot near a border holding area. She was “cringing in sympathy” on one side of the chain link fence — and no one was on the other.

....what a liar...! she is in the same league as that other fraud, Hilary Clinton, who claimed she was under sniper fire or whatever it was when she landed in Kosovo or wherever, several years back...why hasn’t AOC been thrown out of Congress for these lies...? ohhhh, wait.....she has a big “D” after her name.....

Yes, Twitter (or was it Facebook?) has declared it “mostly False” because her office building was evacuated at some point during the “attack” on the Capitol.
Okay. So she and Chelsea Clinton were outside jogging around the building when the “very dangerous” but “peaceful riot” went down.
She is an actress playing a part. The script stated that she almost died so that’s what she said. When the script says that she is the queen of England, she will say that too. The problem with AOC is that she believes she is actually the real person in the script and not the actress playing the part.
Tucker really had a great one last night.
