How did kids fare before universal, mandatory schooling?
It’s BS on its face.
All according to plan.
That’s why one of my topic choices for any posting having to do with the ‘rona is “Conspiracy.”
Maybe Governor Northam can put on some blackface and a wig and go cheer those kids up.
We’re seemingly in the falling away and many people likewise seem as if they’re being turned over to reprobate minds.
Expect things to get worse, not better.
I’m not sure what your post means.
But I can see very well that all of the fear promulgated through the media, the strains in households during lockdown, lack of social connection and the mindlessness and disconnection of trying to learn by ‘Zoom’ is causing a lot of depression in school-age children.
The ‘cure’ seems to have been much worse than the disease.
Lack of campus-based education is not causing teen suicides.
‘Campus-Based’ education includes a lot of things.
What do you think is causing all of the problems?
“DEFUND TEACHERS UNIONS!”
What the he}}, northam thinks it’s abortion post facto.
Yes, but with nanny state parents wrapping their children in cotton wool, these kids have no real life of their own. Add to that kids obsession with TV and asocial media and it’s no wonder they feel depressed.
Citizens in all states need to work with their state lawmakers to make the following changes to their state constitutions regarding quarantines imo.
State constitutions need to be amended to put time limits on quarantines.
State constitutions also need to be amended to make state health officials elected by popular vote.
Constitutionally time-limited lockdowns also need to automatically trigger special recall elections for governors, mayors and health officials who order quarantines, also state lawmakers.
Finally, constitutions need to require people planning to run for state and local offices to escrow a refundable "recall deposit" before becoming a candidate, the deposit fully paying in advance for their possible recall elections if they are elected, amounts determined by law.
They don’t care as long as they can keep you in house arrest.
I think of people like the pioneers.
I guess they were too busy just trying to survive to worry about the nonsense that consumes most Americans these days.
It’s not the school closings that are the problem.
It’s the isolation they are demanding.
If not going to school were the problem, then homeschoolers would be facing a crisis like this, and I NEVER heard of any reports like this.
Nope, it’s the forced isolation from friends and family that is doing the damage.
Forced isolation and endless, pervasive fear-mongering.
