Yesterday, we reported that 27-year-old country music star Morgan Wallen had been banned from the second biggest radio chain in the country after he was caught saying the N-word on camera.
Now, things have gotten even worse for Wallen, as he has been disqualified from the 2021 American Country Music Awards.

I’ll take Wallen over 99% of the crap on country radio. He’s good.
I’ve never heard of him. Don’t think that his music would fit in with Ed Bruce or Charly McClain or others I have on CD or tape or vinyl up to the early ‘90s, lol.
Well, he can always transition to being a rapper.

Morgan Wallen is a talented writer and performer who just writes in the current style dictated by the industry. He’s better at it than most of them.
Ever since Sturgill Simpson won a Grammy, but wasn’t even invited to the CMA’s, country music has lost even more credibility; not that the Grammys have any either.
Country music sold out a long time ago. It suffers from the exact same problems that plague the larger entertainment industry.

Morgan Wallen will not be on the radio, he will not be on TV, he will not have tour dates, and he will not have a record label.

Cause none of them other country ‘entertainers’ ever used it that’s fer sure.

He was free to say what he said.
His record label is free to suspend him, radio stations are free not to play his music, the music awards are free to disqualify him, streaming services are free to pull his music, Country Music Television is free not to show his videos.
Now it’s just losing your job....eventually it will be jail for uttering words democrats don’t like. They will be monitoring your home, car, golf course, bar etc and snitches everywhere.
He’ll be back more popular than ever. You saw what happened when the Left championed Thhe Dixie Pigs when they badmouthed GWB. Country music isn’t a corporate decision, it’s a part of life for fans of it.
He’ll have tour dates and huge turnout. And the industry will still shun him in today’s cancel culture.
