The haughty and very, very French-looking failed Presidential candidate John Kerry did his part in advancing the Biden Administration’s “Make China Great Again” agenda at today’s White House press briefing. Asked by a fawning fake reporter what he would say to oil industry workers who correctly believe their jobs are being eliminated by China Joe Potato Head Biden’s mushrooming assault on the domestic energy business, Kerry responded with this:
VDO.AI “What President Biden wants to do is make sure that those folks have better choices… That they can be the people to go to work to make the solar panels.”
Here’s the problem: The overwhelming majority of solar panels used in the United States are in fact made in China. Matter of fact, 7 of 10 largest solar manufacturers in the world are headquartered in the communist nation, and 2 others are Japanese companies.
Even worse, well over 90% of the components that go into the handful of panels that are assembled in the United States are manufactured in – guess where? – China!
So, basically, John Kerry, China Joe’s “Climate Czar” or whatever fake office they’ve made up for him, is in essence telling oil workers who the President has just thrown out of jobs, “too bad, but there’s lots of work in the solar industry in China.”
You just could never make these despicable people up if they did not already exist. Never in a million years.

Kerry has personally verified this advice. He can attest to the fact that the Chinese Communists pay very well.

WHAT A DUMB ARSE!!! These people are sick disgusting frauds. you tell professional engineers, welders, and equipment operators they will just go work in some assembly factory at $15 an hour after making $80 an hour in the oil patch???
Or just “learn to code” as if an entire investment in building skills, getting certified as a welder, graduating engineering school, investing in a $200k excavator, retooling a steel yard, can be wrapped up with a weekend “Code Bootcamp.”
I remember a financial trader saying in 2009 (can’t recall which one, maybe Kyle Bass) that when he and his colleagues watched Barney Frank declare in 2007 there was absolutely no housing crisis and Fannie and Freddy were fine - they decided immediately to double their short position.
Reading about Kerry, I get the same feeling about oil. Buy it, because these dumb-ass ideologues will create a vicious shortage.
Why waste letters with “haughty and very, very French looking” when “dumbass” fits even better.
And no matter how one chooses to think of the French, Kerry is such an asshat that even they would shove that little turd right into the toilet.
As is deserving of the lying chicken-lipped little gigolo. He does have one distinction, however. Most Democrat female senators had to boink a rich guy to purchase their position a la Pelosi. Kerry is - to my knowledge - the only man who had so little ability (even as a crook) - that he had to boink a rich lady (or is it two rich ladies?), to purchase his position.
Because working welding a pipeline is like soldering solar panels.
Because the knowledge and skills used in constructing pipelines are exactly the same as those used in building solar panels or windmills. After all, they’re both connected to energy...idiots!
When all these solar panels stop producing electricity, or become so inefficient that it is not worth having them anymore I am sure you can pile them all up on John Kerry’s Nantucket house. Maybe in front of John Kerry’s house on Beacon Hill in Boston. Maybe bury them all in a land fill on Theresa Hinze Kerry’s farm in PA.
Really, what are they going to do with all the old solar panels?
The pure contempt they have for those of us who actually have useful skills would be ironic if their lives weren’t built on grift, corruption and nepotism.
Concur, we have seen this goat rope under Dear Leader I (Obumunist). These jobs never materialize.

This is becoming a legitimate problem with “renewable” energy: It turns out a lot of the physical components of “renewable” energy aren’t recyclable. In particular, it’s becoming a real problem disposing of end-of-life wind turbine blades, because they’re huge and made of materials that cannot be reused. Solar panels are (IIRC) similar in that they use a significant amount of materials that can’t be remanufactured.
They’re having to create landfills just for wind turbine blades, and they often have to be located out in wilderness areas close to the turbine arrays because the blades can’t be easily transported.
Whatever blue-collar, working class, lunch pail support the Dems had is gone now.
