On Tuesday's Morning Joe, MSNBC host Joe Scarborough in effect accused Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) of murder. In a Trump-pleasing move, Hawley objected to the certification of Biden's Electoral College victory, which was then smeared into Hawley crying for deadly "sedition."
I mean, he's one of those little -- I mean, but, but, he goes to Stanford and Yale and he uses it for evil. He uses it to kill Capitol cops. He uses it to start seditions against the United States of America.

Under the “public figure” rule, Hawley would have to meet a higher standard of proof if he sued Scarborough for slander.
Even so, Scarborough’s baseless accusation of in essence murder should be sufficient. But doubt Hawley will pursue it.

Serious lawsuit in the making, and Hawley won’t hesitate to bring one. Scarborough and his network aren’t immune, either. This won’t work out well for him.
Whoaaaaa. Where are you going with that, Joe? Do thin little guys with bird like hands suggest something to you that triggers some sort of phobia within you?
He should sue. This talk is getting outrageous. With the amount of brain dead that watch and parrot the morning moron they are inciting violence against the good guys. How long before some left-wing nut shoots a public official that supported Trump?

I think he will. He brought one for the cancellation of his book, and Scarborough’s statements are far worse than having a book contract cancelled.

Every lawyer I know is laughing their butt off over his book lawsuit.
I would welcome Hawley suing Scarborough, and believe he’d have a good chance of success.
Under the “public figure” standard, Hawley would have to prove that Scarborough “acted with actual malice by knowing the falsity or by reckless disregard for the truth.”
That would seem a very feasible standard to meet. Surely Scarborough knew it was false to claim that Hawley used his education “to kill Capitol cops.”
And there is also proof that Scarborough acted with “malice,” based on his locker-room taunts about Hawley’s supposed “little bird hands.”

Not saying it’s a good or bad lawsuit, just that Hawley is at least willing to fight back against cancel culture and (potential) media slander.
What a morally depraved propagandist. Like most of the leftist elites, he has no actual rational arguments, only slander.
If the Supreme Court ever reversed The New York Times vs Sullivan MSLSD would immediately fire this crackpot.

Apparently, there are two Americas - on in which words keep their meaning and another in which words and whole cultural meanings are redefined on a continuing basis, confusing even to those who carry on the practice.

Imagine if Josh Hawley said or implied that Juxtaposing Joe conspired in the murder of his intern and that her death wasn’t accidental as was reported in the local left-leaning newspaper.
