Under the “public figure” rule, Hawley would have to meet a higher standard of proof if he sued Scarborough for slander.

Even so, Scarborough’s baseless accusation of in essence murder should be sufficient. But doubt Hawley will pursue it.

He should sue. This talk is getting outrageous. With the amount of brain dead that watch and parrot the morning moron they are inciting violence against the good guys. How long before some left-wing nut shoots a public official that supported Trump?

I think he will. He brought one for the cancellation of his book, and Scarborough’s statements are far worse than having a book contract cancelled.
