But if you have a Karen in your life who sprays everything in sight and quarantines packages for 14 days, you might want to track down the NPR piece and have her read it. It might relieve some of your stress if she believes NPR.
Or watching her deal with the cognitive dissonance caused by having her fear confronted by what a source she finds credible has to say could be a somewhat entertaining to watch.
If it’s on NPR, the “karens” will hear it!
The hyper disinfecting is going to backfire in a couple ways.
First off, is that it leaves nothing for our immune system to practice with.
The other thing is that hyper disinfecting leads to disinfectant resistant viruses and bacteria, making it harder to control them at a later date.
It’s the same principle as what happened when antibiotics first came on the market and were over used. Now we have antibiotic resistant bacteria like MRSA and C-diff, that are the scourge of hospitals..
The disinfectant industry made billions though ... so it’s all good!
[[A study from the New England Journal of Medicine ]]
Isn’t this the journal of medicine that LIED about HCQ being too dangerous for the public to get it for preventative measures, then reversed their LIE when they thought biden was a shoe in?
Instead, what is left over is viral RNA, otherwise known as the corpse of the coronavirus.

Next, “Bride of Covid” and “I was a Teenage Covid”.
Do they use the same logic regarding the execrable masks?
This is astonishing, but not surprising.
For the past few days I’ve been seeing stories from Leftist media implying, if not saying outright, “Well, gee, wow. Maybe things are getting better. Maybe some of the masking and disinfecting wasn’t really all that necessary after all ...”
You just KNOW what is happening. It’s been predicted by many of us since this began with 14 days to “flatten the curve.” Once the Left thinks Trump is gone — and they want to go to their concerts, and sports games, and clubs ... Suddenly all this horror they have promoted for months with their lapdog media will just ... sort of fade away.
These people are despicable.
Russia Russia Russia ... Impeachment ... Pandemic. It’s all part of one big, insidious operation.
I know nothing but the main threat from this is that it appears to be airborne.
Next up: handwashing doesn’t do anything, either.
I don’t ever remember Fauci saying we should wipe things down. It was always “wash your hands” (and that’s because you touch your face more than you think).
The "because science" people refuse to admit they are sometimes wrong. I follow the scientific method , but I put my faith in God.
I'll bet Clorox is thankful for that one.........
P
It has never been about the virus. It has always been about control.
This is not surprising to me.
The head of the cleaning crew at my employer died of CV19 last year.
Heard about it from one of the women in the cleaning crew.
Another ‘theory’ bites the dust.
OR maybe not.
Hard telling...this will run a day or so then a ‘new’ study will come out saying there isn’t enough disinfecting going on.
I like to ‘toy’ with people by telling them that if you are going to do something, do it right.
Have someone stand at EVERY door and when one enters or leaves make the NEXT person wait while the someone wipes down the ENTIRE door, (can’t be too careful)
Station someone in every aisle and DEMAND that if you ‘touch it you bought’ or at least wipe down what they touched and be it unwrapped fruit or vegetable, throw it away.
Back when ‘they’ had to wear gloves I would suggest that to do it right one must throw away the glove whenever you touch something NEW that is going to eventually go to someone else.
On course the ‘mask police’ love to throw the ‘Well Doctors and Nurses wear them so they must be good’.
Blows their mind when you agree with them THEN tell them that Hospital types wear their masks and gloves once and into the burn bag headed for the incinerator or medical waste facility.
When this Schiff first started the grocery stores were wiping down the rubber conveyor belt after each customer. They were using some sort of sanitary spray and the natural result was that most everything the next person put on the belt got wet.
Step one would/should be that EVERYONE that says ‘I wear the mask to get along’ if you DON’T believe in them don’t wear it. At least be true to yourself. If you don’t mind wearing them, fine but at least admit it just don’t ‘worry’ about me.
Have been hearing ‘rumblings’ about how the grocery clerks, fast food etc etc and ALL the suddenly ‘essential workers’ should be getting hazardous duty pay, especially now that the unemployed are getting ‘bonuses’ for not working.
If that movement catches on the ‘fun’ will really begin.
Don't drink coffee. Drink coffee. Don't drink coffee.
Wear masks. Don't wear masks. Wear masks.
Virus does not survive on surfaces. Virus survives on surfaces. Virus does not survive on surfaces.
Don't disinfect surfaces. Disinfect surfaces. Don't disinfect surfaces.
I don't trust medical experts anymore. I don't trust the news anymore. I don't trust the government anymore. I don't trust our institutions anymore.
I only trust one thing nowadays. I trust President Trump. And that's it. The rest is all spin, fake news, corrupt messaging, agenda driven drivel and outright lies.
We need to get back to doing what we have always done in this country to survive.
Think and decide for yourself. Freedom to choose is a good thing.
Sisters family, very pro-mask, CDC and fauci are all knowing. Both teachers, teachers union, etc. Special needs daughter got covid from the nurse at their school. All regularly wearing masks, disinfecting surfaces, etc. Within days of her positive test, whole family of 4 covid positive. All are fine now, after a week or so of various symptoms.
Our family, not pro mask, CDC and fauci are government bureaucrats/functionaries, health care/life sciences background. Daughter covid positive, several friends from school (private, Christian) also positive. At home, no mask wearing, "social distancing" or disinfecting. Just life as usual. Nobody else in family got it. Daughter doing well, almost 10 days of mild-ish symptoms.
The virus is everywhere. Has been since spring.
I think we (the wife) sanitized nearly everything for about two weeks in March...now we have a couple spare containers of Clorox wipes laying around.
