I was an eleven year old girl! Us kids used to beg our aunt to take us to a Kiss concert all the time. Trash picked an old guitar and pretended I was Ace Frehley.
I wore a KISS belt buckle in 9th grade...oh boy...I thought they were the shit...

I paid a little more than $100 for a near-front-row seat for their 40th anniversary tour (which was the first and only time i’ve seen them).
They want $500 to $1,000 for equivalent seats for their “farewell” tour. Hard pass.
Waylon and friends, wanted outlaws and Kiss Rock and Roll Over were my two favorites in high school. Wore out a few 8 tracks.

Totally! I ‘absconded’ with my brother’s ‘77 Fender Strat (my beloved Siobhan, who I still have and play although she really needs to be re-fretted) and never looked back. I was an Ace girl until I realized the guy was a total moron and became smitten with Gene... I’m now a big fan of Paul Stanleys. His autobio is really beautiful.
Peter was always the best singer in the band.
