Spurred on by antifa and other openly socialist organizations, a homeless group has taken over a Travelodge motel in Fife, WA, just outside of Tacoma. The squatters booked 16 rooms for Christmas eve and have since refused to leave. As many as 40 trespassers are rumored to be part of the occupation. The group, Tacoma Housing Now, is demanding that the county pay the bill. They argue that the motel has been mostly empty as of late and those rooms weren’t being booked otherwise.

“They may have to close up shop because with no revenues coming in, with their margins where they are, they may have to close operations,” said Fife City Manager Hyun Kim. “So, I’m trying to buy some time. It starts with conversations with both sides.”
There is no law
We are beginning to witness the opening scenes from Dr.
Chivago, in our own nation.
Buckle up.
The end of private property is upon us.
And once again, the police do exactly what they are told to do and instead of doing their job and evicting the trespassers, the police choose to not intervene.

“...It starts with conversations with both sides.”
At this point, why should the police act? Their own leadership only punishes them if they do.
Send the looters to the houses of the “cheering left”.
If the civil authorities won’t protect private property, eventually Americans will self-organize to do so. The Kenosha Kid and his compadres are examples of this.
You will note that civil unrest pretty much ended in Kenosha after that event.
“said Fife City Manager Hyun Kim. “So, I’m trying to buy some time. It starts with conversations with both sides.”
What an idiot.
Tax dollars , who needs it
Maybe we don’t need the police so much after all.
Maybe in the usual areas.
I don’t know about where you live but that would be a very bad mistake where I live.
The lines of areas that will tolerate this and areas that won’t will be drawn.
It won’t be entire states but parts of states and a civil war with many fronts.
If Hyun Kim’s house was occupied by transients, you can be sure the police would be called in.
I think the civil unrest is ongoing. They just don’t report
it. I may be wrong, but that’s my take on things.
There are not 3,4 bulldozer owners in the area? If the police won’t act It’s high time the people take control.
This is repulsive. However, the owner is partly (mostly?) to blame. The article states explicitly that he(?) has not asked police to evict. Of his own volition, he allowed the group to stay through the 28th. And he’s been “negotiating” with them ever since. What a colossal F-up. Now the group has grown and is even more obstinate. One possibility might be the owner is angling to get paid to house the homeless — the article says that is part of the negotiation. Perhaps he(?) feels like that is a better model for the pandemic times than trying to capture business from travelers. He might be right. Or he might just be an idiot. And a Lefty. But I repeat myself.
The decent people in those cities should rise up and put this
down.
There are good people everywhere.
It’s time to start taking it to the homes of these beasts.
I bet if I took up unpaid residence at the Seattle Four Seasons, I’d be physically removed...by the cops!
The old no evictions edict during pandemics. 😯
What ever happened to not negotiating with terrorists?
