Time to Cross WalMart off of Your Shopping List
DB Daily Update ^ | David Blackmon

Posted on 12/30/2020 10:49:48 AM PST by EyesOfTX

In what is almost an unbelievable turn of events, even for this horrible year of 2020, the official Twitter account for WalMart just outright attacked GOP Senator Josh Hawley today.

After Senator Hawley became the first GOP senator to make it known that he will object to the January 6 certification of the Electoral vote, WalMart weighed in with a response that reads “Go ahead. Get your 2-hour debate. #soreloser”.

That a major corporation would weigh in on a political issue with a partisan political response is no surprise. We see that happening all the time.

The surprise here is that the partisan political response comes not from some Big Tech firm, but from WalMart, a retail chain of mega-stores that appeal largely to America’s lower middle class shoppers, a very large chunk of which makes up a very large chunk of the support base of Donald J. Trump.

WalMart’s decision to take this hyper-partisan stance on this crucial issue now gives Trump supporters a prime opportunity to extract some accountability from this major retailer by engaging in a simple boycott. While boycotts on media outlets like CNN and MSNBC are completely ineffective, given that such media outlets don’t want to attract conservative viewers and only serve as loss-leaders for their giant corporate umbrellas, a boycott of a profit-motivated retailer such as WalMart by 75 million Americans would likely be extremely effective.

Making Wal-Mart an even more prime target for such a boycott is the fact that it is a company that sources roughly 70-80% of its products not from U.S. suppliers, but from China:

So, all you Trump supporters, listen up: If you currently include WalMart or Sam’s Clubs among your regular shopping routine, the time has come to cross it off your list. You have never been handed a more prime opportunity to extract a little accountability from any major corporation.

Just do it.

That is all.

Walmart said they’d donate 100 million over five years to BLM. They like being on the losing side.

Don’t boycott them. Use them. Get what you need now while you have time. It’ll all shut down soon enough.

I'm afraid that's very true.

You won’t get that link because it doesn’t exist!
WalMart did not attack Josh Hawley for taking a stand on the fraudulent election. Now I can think of other reasons not to shop at WalMart but this is not one of them!

Some Freepers are so quick to jump off the handle with every fake headline. Need to settle down and adopt the 24 hour rule. Or at least an hour or so!

If David Blackmon wrote it - it existed. You can take THAT to the bank.

He doesn’t f**k around.

“The tweet was mistakenly posted by a member of our social media team who intended to publish this comment to their personal account,” a Walmart spokesperson told TheWrap. “We have removed the post and have no intention of commenting on the subject of certifying the electoral college. We apologize to Senator Hawley for this error and any confusion about our position.”

One would think that a company the size of WALMART could have someone overlooking their Metrosexuals in IT. In fact, they should require half a dozen approvals before anything gets posted, including at least a few approvals from adults.

...and something tells they’ll consider it doing just that, although it shouldn’t take a screw-up this major for them to figure it out.

“WM is the only place I can shop for many items....will have to drive fifty miles.”

Yet another Walmart supporter. We have RULES here, and one of them is that we are superior to the people who shop at Walmart, therefore we must attack them and NEVER support them.

Walmart pledged $100 million to Black Lives Matter, over the next five years.

So they're not just *buying* from communists, they're *donating* to communists.

Because the *are* communists.

I don’t shop at the Walmart big store, or buy from Walmart.com, but I do my bulk shopping at the Walmart Market near my home. It’s so much cheaper than my local grocery stores. Walmart has been shifting left for some time now. It’s a shame.

This is how Walmart officially wished Americans specific happy-holiday "greetings" on its official Twitter account (and I quote):

Walmart @Walmart · 4d
♥ Happy Kwanzaa! ♥

... and one day before ...

Walmart @Walmart · 5d
merry almost christmas ya filthy animals

I ... kid ... you ... not. (Also notice the very respectful uppercase for Kwanzaa greetings in contrast with Walmart's extremely condescending lowercase in its disrespectful "merry almost christmas ya filthy animals.")

In today's Democrat/RINO-controlled America, anti-Christianity is extremely popular. RINO Jeb Bush says: "Please clap."

“I hate to go to Walmart and be among the weirdos who shop there. There is a good reason why there’s a website called “WalmartPeople”. And why go there? “

FINALLY, we’re getting on message here. There are actually people posting, RIGHT HERE, about being happy with Walmart - when we all know that supporting Walmart is simply UNACCEPTABLE at FreeRepublic.

Yeah, glad you’re not a peopleofwalmart.com person. You’re better than all of them.

FYI- most of the pictures at the peopleofwalmart.com website are extremely obese (let’s all laugh), probably in a costume for an event, or obviously mentally ill. It’s just soooo funny!

Walmart has apologized for a tweet from its account calling GOP Sen. Josh Hawley a “sore loser.” It was “mistakenly posted,” a spokesperson told TheWrap Wednesday.

After Hawley tweeted that he plans to object the Senate certification of the Electoral College vote for President-elect Joe Biden next week, the verified Twitter account — which boasts over 1 million followers — replied, “Go ahead. Get your 2 hour debate. #soreloser.”

The tweet was deleted just minutes later, and Walmart’s account was back to replying to everyday users musing about their upcoming trips to the superstore.

I avoid Target as a rule.

A couple of nights ago they had the only suitable reason replacement router on the shelf in the area.

I ran a firmware update from Netgear. The router became a doorstop. It was 3 years old and then some. It would not reset or do much of anything after bouncing it on and off.

enable the problem, yeah, that’ll help.

People taking jobs with these bad actor corporations, schools, government etc (using the excuse they need the job especially when they take the job long term and want any perks like vacation, health care etc etc) they are standing on the wrong side of right. Not just in their personal choice, but in spirit realm as well.

Every choice has a spiritual consequence, leading to an eternal consequence. I didn’t come up with that, God did.
