The Battle at Wounded Knee is a significant battle in American history, as it put an end to the Indian Wars and is marked as the last official defeat of the Native Americans. But what’s not taught in history lessons is that Wounded Knee was one of the first federally backed gun confiscations in the history of the United States, and it ended in the massacre of nearly 300 unarmed people.
During the late 19th century, American Indians were allowed to purchase and carry firearms, just as white men were. The colonial gun laws did not bar Native Americans from possessing firearms, yet that natural right was violated by government forces at Wounded Knee. And once the guns were confiscated, the battle ensued.
When we look at the issues surrounding gun confiscation, Wounded Knee gives us an example of the devastation that an unarmed people can experience at the hands of their own government. This battle serves as a reminder to fight against gun confiscation and the gun control legislation that can lead to it.

The problem is that the USA Government has got all of the branches of the military and the guy with a shotgun is outnumbered several billion to one. The right to bear arms currently is to protect the guy in his house with a shotgun in case of a visit from Antifa thugs. 100 years after President Wilson(Democrat) was cheering the Klan movie, Birth of a Nation, the Democrat political party has got BLM and Antifa to do the thuggery.
They gave out several CMHs for the Wounded Knee Massacre. I wonder if the soldiers who received them were proud of them.
Gun control has always been about one group wanting another to be helpless.

It should be that way, but don’t harm any Antifas, you will be the aggressor.
This tactic did not make it up the Chain of Command or to the War College for later planning.

You don’t use them against the military. You use them on softer, more high-value targets.

"Several billion to one shotgun" Where did you come up with that number? Plus, there are a millions of rifles owened by hunters, veterans, and hobbists. Your numbers are way off.
Pardon the language in this old 4chan post – I didn’t make it – but it always comes to my mind whenever someone suggests the military could subdue a popular armed resistance.
