A slight majority of Republicans said they want to see a “fresh face” run for President in 2024, while one-third indicated they would like to see “a candidate who has already run in the past,” says a December 21-2 poll by Rasmussen Reports.
The question in the poll of 1,000 likely voters offered room for still-mourning Republicans to show support for a 2024 candidate younger than departing President Donald Trump, who would turn 78 during the 2024 race, and turn 82 in 2028.

It’s my guess that Pence will not run for POTUS in 2024 regardless of what Trump may or may not do. Pence is not a wealthy man. Thinking he may want to go make some private sector money.

Its always interesting to go back o 2012 here on FR to the threads on who will e the candidate in 2016. I don’t remember Donald Trump even being mentioned by anybody as a contender, let alone a serious contender.

Except there is no country on the history of this planet where one party has ruled forever.
And this planet is 4.5 billion years old.
We don't even know if America will remain one country or be split into different countries or not. After all, in the last 40 years alone, over 20 new countries have been created by old countries breaking up, including, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Czech Republic etc etc.
The chances of another fair and honest national election happening ever again are slim, indeed.
