A nurse at CHI Memorial Hospital in Tennessee passed out on live television after receiving the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine on Thursday.
Their PR stunt for the vaccine could not have possibly gone any worse.

Oh please. What a load of crap.
Think what you will for or against the vaccination. But the very idea that someone fainted from getting a shot is hardly new or unheard of. Leave it to Gasway Pungent to overdramatize the Covid vaccination.

LOL - I take it then that you didn’t read the story to see what actually caused her to feint. Hint: It wasn’t the vaccine.

dehydration seems to be a universal excuse
I would chalk it up to dehydration
People on those jobs dont drink much because they dont want to keep going to the bathroom
Then you go on tv under hot lights and are anxious and pass out.
This is not the reason i wont take it. I care not for any televised theatrics one way or another.

A long-standing required vaccination for some overseas countries is the typhoid vaccine. My 7 year old daughter had to have this vaccine to travel with her grandmother to Romania right after the country opened up. (visiting missionary family there, don’t get me started on what a BAD idea that was.....)
When the public health nurse gave my daughter the vaccination, she cried, it was very painful. I felt TERRIBLE. I bought her a big chocolate ice cream cone afterwards for being such a brave girl.
About two hours later she grabbed her head and started screaming at the top of her lungs, “My head is splitting in half! My head is splitting in half!” Then she ran to her bedroom, projectile vomited chocolate ice cream everywhere, and then lost consciousness. She was out cold.
We rushed her to the ER and they immediately took her temperature, 104 degrees. The attending doctor examined her, shrugged his shoulders and said, “Oh yeah, she’s just having a typical reaction to the vaccine. She’ll wake up pretty soon, then you should give her some Tylenol.”

sheesh, i cant even imagine what that must have been like for you rushing her to ER like that.
Yup, not good PR, but many of us have observed folks fainting following a vaccination. Heck, during my frosh year in a physiology class, one of our behemouth football jocks passed out when he was poking himself with a needle drawing blood to do a blood type test. Not trying to insult my classmate, but those things can and do happen.
As for the vaccine, methinks the best test would have been to first give it to ALL political critters. ALL. Wait a few weeks and see. If nothing happens, that’s the go-ahead. If some die, well we’ve still improved the situation.
I know folks. It was the last line of the story. (but the story wasnt really that long.)
