Following the news today Attorney Lin Wood responded to the development.

Lin Wood is one messed up individual.
I had hopes for Bill Barr but I never really trusted him because of his connections and Ruby Ridge. I wanted to be proven wrong but it seems as if once a swamp creature...always a swamp creature.

Barr has been fairly explicit in delineating the role of an AG in a mature Constitutional Republic (which by many FReeper comments we appear not to be). It is not to seek out and prosecute crimes for political ends. At the same time, he has explicitly upheld the prerogative of the Executive to execute the prosecution of crime.

Sorry but Barr as Attorney General of the United States is the nation’s chief law enforcement officer. He has been aware for nearly a year that the former Vice Presient of the United States sold his office to foreigners, enriched himself and used his addicted, diseased son as his bagman. He ordered his prosecutors to neither investigate or bring indictments. Whatever Barr thought, the result of his actions is that a corrupt, demented, vile man managed with his cohorts to steal an election and the Presidency. Barr without question has carved himself a place in history.

well, i don’t get that Lin. you we’re yelling at him yesterday to “do his job.” but maybe he’s following the President in trying damage control on Barr (letting him save some face, and make sure he doesn’t do more damage as he exits).
it’s too late for AG’s, we need two independent special prosecutors to investigate the Bidens and the other to investigate the election fraud. and i mean not a gope and not a bushie.
I assume he means Lin Wood is getting hammered.
