(VIDEO) Rick Santelli Destroys CNBC Reporter For Pushing Coronavirus Lockdowns – ‘It’s Not Science!’

SORKIN: “The difference between a big box retailer — hold on. The difference between a big box retailer and a restaurant or frankly, even a church, are so different it’s unbelievable. Going into a big box retailer, you’re wearing a mask.”

SANTELLI: “I disagree! I disagree! I disagree! You can have your thoughts and I can have mine.”

SORKIN: “It’s science. If you’re wearing a mask, it’s a different story.”

SANTELLI: “It’s not science! 500 people in a Lowe’s aren’t any safer than 150 people in a restaurant that holds 600. I don’t believe it! Sorry. Don’t believe it.”

SORKIN: “Okay. You don’t —“

SANTELLI: “And I live in an area where there’s a lot of restaurants that had fought back and they don’t have any problems, and they’re open!”

SORKIN: “Okay. You don’t have to believe it, but let me just say this, you’re doing a disservice to the viewer because the viewers need to understand it —“

SANTELLI: “You are doing a disservice to the viewer! You are! You are!”

SORKIN: “I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I would like to keep our viewers as healthy as humanly possible. The idea of packing people into restaurants and packing people into a Best Buy are completely different things.”

SANTELLI: “I think our viewers are smart enough to make part of those decisions on their own. I don’t think that I’m much smarter than all the viewers like some people do.”

Good ol’ Santelli. He started the Tea Party movement in ‘09.

Sorkin is the ANCHOR, not just a reporter. There is a big difference.

And remember Santelli started the TEA Party movement.

And the difference is......?

In a restaurant, unless you're dining alone, you remain in close contact with people, without a mask, for an extended period of time. During that time you're typically talking and laughing.

This is the exact scenario public health authorities say to avoid.

In a large retail store you don't have extended contact with any one individual, you can typically maintain social distancing and you can wear a mask.

Seems you only pasted half of your cut and paste clickbait blog here. Not sure why.

**********

KERNEN: “Rick, I just wanted to just highlight something that the background of this whole discussion comes with, what we’re seeing in terms of Covid cases, and we’re seeing, you know, maybe stimulus, but we’re seeing calls for not necessarily closing things down, but certainly there are some calls to close things down, except for the politicians themselves, but for their constituents they are talking about, you know, they need to be much more careful. We’re hearing, right?”

SANTELLI: “Yes. No, believe me, I believe in careful. And when I point out governors cheating, it’s not for the hypocrisy which exists, it’s the fact that I think many of these governors are intelligent people and they love their families, which they have taken out into restaurants. Therefore, there is actually and should be an ongoing debate as to, you know, why a parking lot for a big box store, like by my house, is jampacked, not one parking spot open. Why are those people any safer than a restaurant with Plexiglas? I just don’t get it. And I think there’s a million of these questions that could be asked, and I think it’s really sad that when we look at the service sector, and all the discussions we have had about job losses, that that particular dynamic isn’t studied more, isn’t worked more, we don’t put more people in a room to try to figure out ways so that these service sector employees and employers can all come back in a safer way. You can’t tell me that shutting down, which is the easiest answer, is necessarily the only answer.”

SORKIN: “Rick, just as a public health and public service announcement for the audience, the difference between a big box retailer —“

SANTELLI: “Wait, wait. First of all, who is this? Who is this?”

KERNEN: “Who else. It’s Andrew. Who else.”

SANTELLI: “I think our viewers are smart enough to make part of those decisions on their own. I don’t think that I’m much smarter than all the viewers like some people do.”

LEE: “Can I get in here, please, and get back to the jobs report?”

LIESMAN: “How is that working out for you, Rick? How is it all working out for you? Look at the numbers, Rick.”

SANTELLI: “It’s working out fine. It’s working out fine, Steve.”

LIESMAN: “I think the numbers, Rick, belie — Rick, the numbers show that the idea of let it rip has not worked all that well.”

SANTELLI: “I understand it’s a horrible thing and people are getting sick and dying. I understand it. I just think the way we deal with it isn’t necessarily —“

LEE: “I think if we spend the rest of the show talking about this, there will be no agreement so let’s move on from here. Getting back to the jobs report.”

remember the lock downs are just for us peons. The elites in power still do as they wish and their big donor corporations still run their business untouched.

The elite’s contempt for the average middle class citizen is on display.

There was a recent post on social sciences, that featured this brilliant give and take involving a Harvard faculty member critical of Charles Murray from the original article, that is worth reprinting - it is with regard to the "certainty of SCIENCE":

"so why should we let someone teach social science that we know to be wrong in our social science courses?"

Because it is possible that you are wrong.
Science is not mathematics. Newtonian physics was wrong. And social science is a further three rungs down in certainty from science.

Your level of certainty and arrogance about what can be said, and probably thought, smacks of religion, and not science. This is a political religion that permeates academia at the moment. And which I am fairly sure you will swear does not infect you, while the rest of us can see the symptoms quite plainly.

Only religions ban heretics from speaking because of the wrong-think they might cause. Real science loves a good heretic. In fact, honestly, the entire goal of science is to be a heretic. To have an idea that no other person ever had. Science is the pretty much the antithesis of your thought-police approach.

And most of academia used to be the antithesis of your thought police approach as well, until the religion of leftism took it over, with the direct help of people like you

My wife being an investment adviser watched CNBC all day. She couldn’t wait to tell me about this, and showed me the encounter. Santelli, as everyone should know kickstarted the Tea Party years back with this rant against early Obama policies relating to housing.

Unless you’re one of the elite who can do as they darn well please.

The rules are only for the little folks, not our betters who impose them on us, all for our own good, of course.

Crowds are crowds and there is essentially no difference between a crowded store and a church or restaurant.

And the important thing, as a growing number of highranking officials have shown in the past 7-10 days, is that they DON”T BELIEVE THAT WHAT THEY TELL US TO DO IS TRUE OR helpf
ul in “stopping the spread” ANYWAY—otherwise they would follow it themselves.

such is the official narrative you so dutifully parrot. None of it makes sense , even on its own highly limited terms,if you look at it closely. On top of that you’re not taking anything else into account:facts that are what makes this entire thing a huge scam the so-called “management” of which has ruined probably millions of lives, and robbed the futures from millons more. And a scam that has objectives you don’t even acknowledge or maybe aren’t even aware of. You are way behind the learning curve.educate yourself.

The virus couldn't care less if the "elites" are hypocrites or not. That has no bearing on how people get infected.

And a scam that has objectives you don’t even acknowledge...

And who's behind this global conspiracy?

I'm not talking about the introduction of the virus, I mean the management of it in nearly every country on Earth.

It has to be several hundred thousand who have been read in on it to control all of the mayors, county commissioners, governors and their counterparts in every country.

Ernst Blofeld has to be in at least in his eighties by now so who's handling the day to day supervillany?

Other than those significant ones I pointed out.
