So I've been checking up time to time on the progress on the construction of the borderwall

Overall despite the Set backs and hurdles it looks like Trump has kept his promise for the most part on getting the wall built, a good bulk of it is now up(415 miles at this time of writing) although it looks like it isn't all going to be finished by the time he leaves office.
So I'm just curious how much of the wall actually need to be put up? As I understand not all the US-Mexico border is porous, a good bit of it is mountainous terrain that impassable only to expert climbers.
The thing I have been wondering about is if Biden gets in, will he take the wall down?
landmines are cheaper than a wall..
I personally very much doubt it, I would imagine it would be very hard to justify destroying something that cost billions of dollars and 100s of thousands of tons of material gone into it.

415 MILES!!!! That is over 7 hours of driving at 55 MPH! If you had a freeway next to it...you would drive for 7 hours straight...that is a freaking long wall!
The question is not how many more miles of wall do we need but how many miles of wall or open border can agents cover. The wall by its self does not stop most illegals it can easily be climbed with a ladder or cut with a torch.
It is only effective if there are enough agents to catch or deter anyone willing to climb it. The wall helps but we don’t have near enough agents. Not only do we have to cover the border but we also have to guard anyone in the hospital(I just spent 2 weeks on hospital guard) and detention takes a lot of time and agents.
The only way to stop the crossings is to turn off the magnet. Right now there is enough incentive to try and cross as long as the possible reward is much greater than the punishment people will cross.
Supposed to keep building even if biden gets in. Supposed to be pretty close to done

If Biden gets into office not only will the southern wall finish in haste, but nothern wall too, so we cannot escape the coming Communism.
Those impassable area just happen to be in National Parks and are posted as off limits to US citizens.
build the wall, the budget ends on june 30, 2021. I hope it keeps going until then.

Yes. It would be easy to take down with explosives, and knowing the next Democrat would do the same, almost impossible to rebuild. And he will make 11 million illegals into citizens and voters overnight.
That is why the next Republican, hopefully Trump’s second consecutive term, needs to deport 11 million illegal aliens and their children, born here or not. Then they will be almost impossible to legalize.
