It’s also against the law to be DUI with a weapon.

Did the gummies help?

It’s regarding STATE gun laws. If the STATE issues me an MJ card legally then I am not using MJ illegally and say so on the form.

Don’t know why that’s so hard to understand.

BTW, a few THC/CBD drops right before bed help a lot with a good night’s sleep when arthritis pain is a problem...or so I’m told.

This is exactly why IMHO, we see the push for legalization of pot—it’s a back door to firearms confiscation.

“How long after last joint does disability remain? They’d have a helluva time finding cops or agents these days who haven’t done the stuff at some time or another.”

Don’t know and I’m not a lawyer, but on my good days I can read English. Question 11e reads, “Are you an unlawful user...” which is the present tense, so I’d think that if you quit yesterday, you’d be OK, but, of course my opinion means nothing.

Of course question 11e is asking you to admit you are committing a Federal Crime, so I don’t know if you are obliged to answering truthfully. Leaving blank is not an option, the dealer simply won’t sell you anything if you leave questions blank.

As for finding cops to enforce it; when Congress added misdemeanor domestic violence to the list of prohibited persons (an ex post facto penalty) I know a deputy who had, in fact, been convicted, but he still kept and keeps his gun.

Honestly, I’m not sure. My mom was a nurse for over four decades, and she said the CBD has to be high quality to be effective. These were at a checkout register at a jerky shop, so there’s your perspective. LOL I suppose a higher or more sustained dose would have told the tale. As it is, I take 400 mg. of gabapentin x4 daily, and naproxen as needed. It still doesn’t eliminate the sensations (or lack thereof) in my feet and shins, and I really wasn’t paying much attention. All I recall is my wife tearing the package open and saying here, eat these. But, she has MS as well as knee and hip issues, and she swears that CBD products help her sometimes. One of those ‘your mileage may vary’ things, I guess.

I use CBD and it depends. Oil under the tongue is best. I sometimes smoke a little. It works really well for me for joint pain and sleep but some people get no relief.

You probably need the good stuff from a dispensary. If not allowed in your state you will have to try it if you ever travel through one that allows it.

I have never registered a dog in this country, nevermind a gun. Never knew you could register to smoke pot.

What a wierd thing.

There is no Federal law against “using” illegal drugs. Having used illegal drugs does not prohibit one from possessing a firearm, under Federal law. There is no legal definition in US Code for “unlawful user” of illegal drugs. This question has already been adjudicated. It is meaningless.

At age 55, my hip joint began having pain. And I had chest pains after eating my favorite restaurant meal (prime rib or T-Bone).
At age 60 my right knee began to have pain. Doc sent me to X-ray, and it showed it was bone on bone grinding together.

And I was getting panic attacks in closed malls while shopping. I quit the job at Argonne labs in Illinois and retired to WA state.

Joined Orchard Hills golf and country club in Washougal, WA which was basically a blue collar club with lots of members from the paper mill nearby. For $250/month fee I could play unlimited golf.

Began with 3 rounds of 9 holes/week and gradually increased it to playing 5 rounds of 18 during the week.
Which means I was walking 30 miles every week.

Unbelievably, all pains disappeared including the knee joint pain. How did that happen? Still baffles me.

I quit golf at age 75 due to moving from WA state to Florida. Now it is daily treadmill for 25+ minutes 6 days every week. Still no pains.

Well I do not partake in the drug but my thought on this? I think that if a person fraudulently answers that question it’s no worse than people fraudulently creating ballots for their chosen candidate. They’ll more than likely never get charged with anything as we now love in a lawless society.

The US Supreme Court has held that answering the questions on the 4473 are akin to self-incrimination.

“This question has already been adjudicated. It is meaningless.”

Which begs the question, why is it still there?

Remember when the O’Biden-Bama administration tried to prohibit Social Security recipients who had someone managing their finances from possessing firearms? The list of behaviors that result in gun prohibition will likely continue to grow.
