Assemblywoman Claudia Tenney, R-NY, speaks during a news conference at the Capitol, in Albany, N.Y. Tenney faces Democratic New York State Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi in the state's 22nd Congressional District.
While most of the focus has been on the fraud that happened in the presidential election, it’s also worth nothing that other Republicans are also getting screwed by sketchy, late rushes of Democrat votes counted well after the election had ended. One case has become especially egregious, and it’s taking place in New York.
The race for NY-22 has suddenly flipped to the Democrat by 13 votes and the story behind how that happened will have you punching walls or facepalming, whichever you prefer.
The judge miraculously "found" enough ballots that he felt were okay and the incumbent now "leads" by 13 votes.https://t.co/miAlX6bZpD

After trailing in the polls by over 28,000 votes on election night, upstate Democratic Rep. Anthony Brindisi claimed victory Wednesday in the 22nd district over his Republican challenger — celebrating a slim 13-vote lead.
Yes, a Democrat that was losing by 28,000 votes in a district race (i.e. that’s a huge margin) has now claimed victory by 13 votes because a Democrat judge stepped in and put his stamp of approval on enough rejected ballots to make it happen. The implications here are just insane. If a single judge can decide he gets to be the arbiter of which ballots are accepted even after they were rightly rejected under the law, that opens nearly every close race up to judicial meddling.
In the grand scheme of things, assuming the Republican ends up losing here, one House seat isn’t a catastrophe. The GOP will still be well positioned to retake the chamber in 2022. But it sends a message that this kind of tampering is acceptable. Hopefully Claudia Tenney has some other legal recourse here, perhaps appealing this in federal court. I wouldn’t begin to assert that I know all her options at this point.
Regardless, this is the danger of mail in ballots and judges being allowed to nullify election law at their whim. We saw the same thing on a larger scale in Pennsylvania, where a court unilaterally decided that the election laws simply no longer applied in that state, allowing thousands of additional ballots to come in after the set deadline. Mass mail in ballots in general, at least when done in a way where they aren’t required to be in some days before the election, are also awful for the credibility of our system. How can anyone feel good or confident in the integrity of our elections when huge shifts in votes happen weeks after the fact due to late arriving and/or counted ballots?
Republicans control a lot of state levers of power, from governorships to state houses. They need to be wielding that power to fix this stuff. If they don’t, they can expect to be slowly weeded out by the very fraud they’ve ignored.
Who cares about Congress - much more fun to bitch and moan about the Dems stealing the election from Trump!
“The race for NY-22 has suddenly flipped to the Democrat by 13 votes”
No problem. I found 14 votes stuck to my shoe. Where can i go to turn them in?
It matters... pennies make dollars and these actions need to be fought, tooth and nail, anywhere and everywhere.
How will that happen when the author just described how any and all means will be used to rig elections?
First of all, a movement for very strict and tamper-proof voting and counting procedures must be a priority for all GOP controlled state legislatures. It should involve everything from cleaning voter rolls regularly, to eliminating mail-in ballots, to using paper ballots.
Second - nullification needs to be used. Red States need to start threatening they will not abide by laws created as a result of fraud. If corrupt elections form Federal institutions, then how can anyone trust what comes from those institutions?
The fraud has been so pervasive that it’s effecting state legislative seats.
I believe that I read earlier today that a corrected error flipped it back to Tenney, and that she still leads by 13.
Of course they are still counting.
GRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr................!!!!!!!!!!
Count and recount until the democrat wins...
Just take it all the way to SCOTUS. Like HRC said, never concede. Best advice she ever gave.
They did the same to Astorino for state senate. Winning by over 8000 votes on election day.
Poof, the commie Harkham wins with ‘mail in’ and absentee ballot 2 weeks later. Harkham wrote the no bail law.
NY 1 is still up for grabs even though republican Zeldin is ahead 61% to 38%. They’re counting the absentee ballots since Election Day with no counts reported so far.

Sorry, but we need a new party. The GOP corpse is still twitching, but there is no doubt that the party is dead.
If only the Republicans were half as energetic and committed as Democrats.
The only animating force for Republicans is their own seat. Got another pubbie in trouble? Sucks to be them.
The Kraken needs to pay NYS a visit...
The Dems need to know how many they need.
The current model for election theft is the Republicans vote on election day and the Democrats find out how many they need to steal it up to several weeks after. Its a sick joke.
Yes, it flipped back to her, the Republican.
[[[[Where is the GOP?]]]]
Bowing to their corporate donors like the Chamber of Amnesty.
The entire election should be declared unconstitutional. SCOTUS judges aren’t rocket scientists), but anyone can see that these demonrat ballot DUMPS are an act of FRAUDULENCE.
DOMINION machines are totally compromised.
Servers in Germany?
Any idiot can see that NO ONES votes really made any difference and that the election was RIGGED.
They are still doing it!
The election must be done over again with no mail ins and no machines!
If demonrats think they won, they should have no problem doing it over again the LEGAL WAY
