The left will go ballistic if they overturn the election because the LSM has told them a thousand times “there is no evidence of widespread fraud”.
The state legislature can arbitrarily select a slate of electors, however, this gives them all the justification and rationalization they need. They do not need to defer to any court or official.
So, what’s the pension for a FORMER ex-president-elect?

Yep, I think you have this well summarized. It needs the 2-step process of 1) legislative approval of the resolution and 2) the emergency resolution to immediately put the new legislative branch in session to sustain the validity of the resolution and defend it.
