Fox News host Laura Ingraham on Monday night gave a sobering take on where she sees post-election reality, what should happen next, and the optimism she believes Trump supporters should have moving forward.
After opening the “Ingraham Angle” with a reference to Trump late Monday giving the go-ahead to the GSA to begin the transition process with Biden, Ingraham laid out “where we stand tonight,” as she sees it.
“As unpleasant and disappointing as these past three weeks have been to so many of us, as much as we wish things were different, this is where things stand tonight. Now legal challenges continue in a number of states — serious questions about vote counting, poll watcher access, are outstanding, “unless the legal situation changes in a dramatic and unlikely manner, Joe Biden will be inaugurated on January 20th.”
Ingraham, who counts herself among ardent supporters of President Trump, said she did not want to give her viewers “false reality.”
She stressed that people should not believe she doesn’t think election fraud occurred; and that Trump should continue to pursue all legitimate legal challenges.
Now, to say this does not mean I don’t think that this election was rife with problems and potential fraud. And to say this does not constitute being a sellout to the conservative populist movement that I’ve been fighting for, I don’t know, 25 years. And it does not mean that I disagree at all with the president’s right and obligation to pursue all legitimate legal challenges to this outcome.
This “constitutes living in reality,” she said. “I will not lie to you or simply tell you what you want to hear.”
To say this, constitutes living in reality. And if I offered you a false reality, if I told you that there was an excellent, phenomenal chance that the Supreme Court was going to step in and deliver a victory to President Trump, I’d be lying to you. You have known me for a long time now. You know me long enough to know that I will not lie to you or simply tell you what you want to hear.”
Ingraham then shifted gears to focus on the future — including the future of Trump — about which she told viewers they should be optimistic.
“How things are handled going forward, is going to have a huge impact on the Republicans’ ability to stop Biden’s most egregious moves, and thus, these next moves are critical to the future of the country. And thanks to President Trump, we have seen the amazing results that are possible with his America First agenda.”
She contrasted Trump’s accomplishments of the last four years with a likely incoming Biden administration, which suggested would simply be a “re-run” of the Obama presidency — only worse.
“Biden’s entire administration is basically going to look like a re-run of the series canceled four years ago, except this time without its popular leading man. [Biden will] “do what Obama did, but it’s going to be worse.”
Speaking of which, Biden on Monday took a yuuge step in already proving naysayers like Ingraham and the rest of us right.
On Monday he named longtime advisor Antony Blinken as his pick for secretary of state. Not only is Blinken also a retread from the Obama administration; he helped to construct a plan for U.S. military operations in Syria — which he later admitted, “failed.”
And in June 2019, Blinken referred to Trump’s “America First” foreign policy as nationalist, xenophobic, and dangerous.
Also on Monday, Biden named John Kerry, who has been a laughingstock since his college days, as “special presidential envoy for climate (LOL), and will also give the vacuous Kerry a seat on the National Security Council.
I gotta admit it; I laughed out loud when I saw that one.
In another move, Biden named Jake Sullivan as his national security advisor, described by The Federalist as having a “history of amplifying junk intelligence.” The Federalist referred to Sullivan as a “Steele dossier truther.”
Ingraham encouraged Trump to campaign for incumbent Georgia Republican Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler, who not only face close races in a January 5 runoff election but whose fate will determine whether or not Republicans will retain control of the Senate.
“This is the time for the president to remind all Americans that we will save this country, even with the current setback. Great patriots coast to coast have not given up. People I don’t think realize what it’s going to be like when we have more than 70 million Americans mad at the way the government is run under Team Biden.”
“Trump remains the most compelling voice in American politics. And this Thanksgiving, we should all be incredibly grateful for his service to our country, and his sacrifices for this country,” Ingraham said in conclusion. “And I personally cannot wait to see what President Trump does next.”

I’m not one to say that there is no hope for Trump but we need to remember that our society has been breaking down for some time. Trump has been standing alone. There are very few people willing to stand up against such personal and vicious attacks. Jail time, threats of exposure, etc have made cowards of many people.
I posted this on another thread. It's not so much as to how the judges will judge, its whether or not they have courage and integrity to stand up against being blackmailed and intimidation. Look at Roberts, look at the GOP in the senate. All sell outs.
If the democrats can pull off a massive voter fraud right before our eyes and have the media back them up, then what are a few judges to stand in their way? Who is going to go after them? The FBI?

I like something broader like The New American Party or American Independence Party, unless those have been taken and have some sort of stigma.

Exactly. She wants us to do what Republicans always do -- concede "gracefully". Our Republic is on fire and she is telling us that there is no fire, when the rest of us are choking on the smoke.
These people just got away with stealing an election in plain sight. And, not just any election, a Presidential election.
Fraud is fraud, and the fraud is out there for all to see. Just because they used a computer to facilitate the fraud, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
They stole this election and now they know how to do it in the future. Use a computer that can be hacked from the internet. If they get away with this, and it looks likely that they will, we will never again have a free and fair election in this country. We will never again see a Republican President.
They now know what works and they will just keep on using that ploy until it no longer works. And, with the media that we have now, it will probably always work, as the media will never investigate it.
And, just as a side note: Where the H--- is the "Durham" report? Maybe he will drop it on Thanksgiving Day when no one is paying attention.
Who is she talking to? She has lost her most ardent supporters so I guess she is trying to curry favor with her new liberal fans.
To bad the Constitutional Party is already taken.
