I think it’s silly to pretend that the taint of what ever idea or behavior you’re talking about can be avoided by substituting alternate symbols without hiding in any way the word’s meaning or the behavior it describes. For example, if I called you a dip$hit, would you or anybody else not know what word I was using? Pedophilia is a word that refers to awful acts, but the word itself and the letters that compose it, are not themselves evil. Why the first ‘i’ and not the second? Or one of the ‘p’s, or some other letter? Are you a letterist?

But this isnt that kind of blackmail. This isnt somebody got caught doing something a little crooked or scummy like taking bribes. This isnt Russians slipping someone a mickey and posing them with a male prostitute. These are vile acts that these people are knowingly and intentionally agreeing to participate in as an initiation become members of the club. This club is a cult that encourages further willful acts of depravity to further the rank and benefits of the initiate in the cult. This is something that deserves a word beyond what most people think of as blackmail.
