The 2016 Presidential election results (remember them?) were a vindication of four people:
First, the incomparable Pat Buchanan, who ran for the presidency three times on an America First platform, championing the ideas that ultimately propelled the Trump campaign.
Buchanan was a prophet—a man of foresight, courage, and vision who loved his people and delivered a warning that went unheeded. Trump had the benefit of running in light of the damage and wreckage that Buchanan predicted.
Second, Samuel Francis, editor, columnist and essayist who long predicted the rise of “Middle American Radicals”, a phalanx of dispossessed white working-class voters yearning for a populist tribune.
Third, Steve Sailer, who has repeatedly argued that the GOP can still win national elections by maximizing the white vote. The “Sailer Strategy” was the playbook the Trumpists implicitly followed—in 2016.
Fourth, Ann Coulter, whose book Adios America seems to have been read in Trump’s orbit and provided much of the rhetorical ammunition for his immigration agenda—in 2016.
But four years later, pending the outcome of legal challenges raising legitimate questions about irregularities, anomalies and possible election fraud, we sit on the precipice of a Joe Biden presidency.
Joe Biden! A man who is arguably senile, when not convinced he is really Neil Kinnock, who ran a McKinley-style campaign from his basement in Delaware and who plans to open America’s borders.
What happened?
Here I’m relying on Fox News/ Associated Press’s analyses of voting behavior, which can be contrasted with its 2016 exit poll data. I have to say, though, that the data is much-disputed and is definitely subject to revision. But given its methodology and sample size, the data produced by Fox/AP appear to me to be the most accurate for now.
That must be how Trump got 10 million votes more than last time. Idiotic... He didn’t lose the white working class.
Maybe. The fact is, however, that whites will be a minority in the United States in a few years—we already are in CA, where I live (I’m white).
Therefore I’m very happy Trump got so many Latino votes. Latinos are natural Republicans—they attend mass weekly, they have large close families, they own or work for small businesses. They are the future of the US; they have tons of babies.
I did my part; I had 4 children myself. :)
Bullshit. Who the hell was showing up at his rallies, which were far bigger than they were in 2016? And who does this guy think makes up the majority of the 80 million people who voted for him this election? The felons he released as part of his prison reform programs were Federal inmates, sentenced for many years, for non-violent drug offenses. Compare that with the Democrat Governors who released thousands of serious offenders from jails and prisons due to the virus.
What President Trump has accomplished so far is thanks to almost no one in Washington.
Two years were frittered away listening to the promises of Paul Ryan who gaslighted President Trump from the get go. Then there was the whole band of feckless traitors starting with McCain, Romney, Sessions, Rosenstein, Rex "The Gay Caballero" Tillerson, General Kelly, etc. etc. ad nauseam.
But President Trump's biggest error was choosing "Javanka" over Bannon and Gorka. Things would have been way different with Bannon and Gorka on the staff.
Small example. A white painter was working at my house in September. He volunteered that he didn’t vote for Trump in 2016 but had taken the red pill and was enthusiastic for 2020 because despite maybe not liking Trump that much he loved what he was doing.
Another worker here said something quite similar.
I looked at who was at the rallies and as I recall very few who voted for Trump in 2016 said they’d vote Obama in 2020.
Here I’m relying on Fox News/Associated Press’s analyses of voting behaviorYou sure will regret doing that.
Who here believes that?
The vote is fraudulent so why are they even writing this story LIARS!!
Thank you for your answer.
Case in point, John Bolton. Another one is Ann Coulter.
Funny, and yet, he had incredible increases in every minority class voter.
Not buying the premise.
Who here believes that?
Democrat lies to account for their loss of the minority groups. Trump didn’t lose the white working class. The Democrats did not get their vote.
Voters are very much “what have you done for me lately”. And the last 8 months of covid has placed it at the forefront of everyone’s mind. The President’s inability to educate Americans that the President has no official role because of Federalism may cost him IMHO. Those duties and responsibilities not included in the Constitution revert to the States.
“10 million more votes...”
...exactly!
Fake News! He gained if you can count the honest votes.
You normally have good analysis. This time you suck.
[You normally have good analysis. This time you suck.]
But there’s also an alternate thesis. Trump raised $1.6b over 2 years.

Maybe the guy he entrusted the cash to, Brad Parscale, spent too much too early, expecting the flow of cash to continue indefinitely. Which it did not. That is why in the closing months of the Trump campaign, it was virtually invisible ad-wise, whereas Biden’s ads were ubiquitous, thereby capturing the middle-of-the-road low information voter who is key to deciding election outcomes.
It’s the fraud. clod. He didn’t lose anybody. Total BS, especially if Fox is involved.
