There’s a big difference between then and now . Back in those days the non-pliant populous had nowhere near the personal firepower which millions of American poses today . Unarmed ‘masses had no choice but to submit to the politically controlled armed forces. We have a choice . Try and oull.that shit here and now and see what happens . Furthermore , the U.S. military will not follow the orders of some new ,socialist/commie, insane regime. Regardless of ‘ the Constitution, or the stupid , asinine, voters that out them in to power. I’ve always reserved my greatest contempt for the media - one expects the Democrat party to be who they are: greedy, venal opportunists of the worst order. But the media have a specific responsibility - to shine the light of truth on all in the political realm, and instead they’ve become little more than shills and enablers for the worst in our public sector. The guy who wrote this article does an excellent job in making the latter point.
