Democrat Senator Mazie Hirono walked up as the roll call of the vote for Amy Coney Barretts confirmation to the Supreme Court was read aloud.
Footage shows Hirono (D-HI) tersely saying hell no while giving a thumbs down during the vote.
Barrett was confirmed to the Supreme Court by a 52-48 vote Monday and was administered the oath by Justice Clarence Thomas.
Hirono had earlier tweeted about Judge Barretts perceived radical views.
She said last month that she would not support the nomination.
Hirono is one of the members of the worst of the worst.
You’d think that the citizens of Hawaii would get rid of this embarrassment.
Oh, the Butthurt is strong in this one.
Shes a peach thats for sure.
Discipline her Mitch!
...and then to relieve her frustration she went and scissored up a baby, which made her feel a renewed sense of power and meaning.
It’s a coin toss between Hirono and the equally imbecilic Patty Murray for the title of the most vacuous member of the senate.
What a badass. (Rolling eyes snarky sarcasm)
A bit more detail.
To my two useless senators this morning:
Dear Senator
As expected, and not surprisingly, instead of being a champion of womens rights and gender equality, you chose partisan politics over substance and constitutional duty and voted NAY on Judge Barretts confirmation. How embarrassing for you and even more so for the great state of Nevada. Seems like you do NOT represent all Nevadans after all.
Sincerely
That is what the people of HI should say when she runs for reelection. What a POS.
Did your ignorant dumb-assed vote matter one iota? Hell no!
A “no” vote from an associate of the infernal regions - who’d of thunk it?
Maybe the Hawaiians wanted to get rid of her, so they sent her as far away as possible.
Does a hell no count as two votes?
Hawaiian voters had to get off their knuckles and walk upright in reaching the machines to vote for Hirono.
The got a female justice, but not a tranny black female flaming liberal justice.
