Joe Buck and Troy Aikman were caught on a hot mic mocking the military pregame flyover:
TROY AIKMAN: That’s a lot of jet fuel just to do a little flyover. JOE BUCK: That’s your hard-earned money and your tax dollars at work! AIKMAN: That stuff ain’t happening with [a] Kamala-Biden ticket. I’ll tell you that right now, partner.
Well, Aikman may have a point if Biden makes it across the finish line.
I’m thinking ZagFan on the 12th reply here might be right. I think Aikman was maybe saying that as a slap at Harris almost certainly being anti-military (along with Biden’s treason). And, Joe Buck is a strong pro-lifer, even speaking at pro-life events, so I doubt that he is a supporter of the genocidal Harris-Biden ticket. .. I don’t watch the NFL for the same reasons that millions don’t. .. I’m thinking that maybe since we are so accustomed to the nfl and nba being such radical-left enterprises, we understandably respond in a defensive mode to a moment such as Aikman/Buck. Aikman’s “lot of fuel” comment is also contributory to our initial response.
No NFL. No NFL announcers.
That was my first impression.
Funny they worry about tax payer dollars while they work in bazillion dollar structures, paid for by taxpayers, which get used a few times a year.

When the masks come off they reveal who they really are. So many esteemed elite people are so disappointing.

I think military flyovers, parades, and air shows are a waste of resources. My thoughts about these activities have nothing to do with a disrespect of the military. These two knuckleheads are dumb though to think Trump is directly responsible for this stuff, as we’ve had flyovers at ball games as long as I can remember.
They STILL don’t get it. No one cares about the politics of players, owners, referees, announcers, etc.
Hope the NFL and many other pro sports teams suffer heavy financial losses. Hope many fail completely.
Shame to see Aikman leaning Left. Thought better of him.
And a pretty good baseball announcer as well!

.....he should have ordered all DoD assets, including High School JROTC and Jr. College/College ROTC to not let their color guard into NFL stadiums as they are NOT U.S. territory anymore.
No flyovers either.
NFL doesn't want to be American patriots, you don't get American Patriots.
And the flyover serves as a training run, which they'd be doing anyway.

a lot of sports leagues have gone insane, even NASCAR=- about as redneck conservative a sport as there is, or was i should say- now it’s a pathetic blm appeasing socialist anthem kneeling crapfest that is losing money and fans daily- stands that used to be filled to the brim no longer are (I’m talking about before covid- the stands were so empty that NASCAR refused to show complete sections of the track because folks would see how bad the attendance was and be inclined not to go themselves possibly)- and Formula one is following right in their footsteps-
I’m a pretty big NASCAr, Formula One, GP etc racing fan- Though not rabidly so- I do online racing with Iracing- and love it- but the socialist crap that NASCAR is into these days- the disrespect they have for this country now (some of them anyways) is just stomach turning-
Like you- a lot of folks want drivers to break away from NASCAR and start new leagues- non PC leagues- I think they can’t because of the $$ involved in running a league, but it sure would be nice if they did to send a loud clear message to big businesses like NASCAR that they aint putting up with their crap-

Planes fly daily. Flyovers are just a detour.
I was truly shocked by nascar.
Are they trying to reach the woke generation? it would be much better to reach the people that actually pay attention to them.
Marketing and advertising planning has gone completely insane and every one of these places.
And whoever the heck is giving them this advice is destroying them.
