Former Trump Campaign Chairman Corey Lewandowski joined Sean Hannity on Friday night to discuss the latest state of the race.

According to Lewandowski President Trump’s internal polls and Real Clear Politics are better today than in 2016.

The Trump Campaign is very confident. Corey rattled off a number of swing states where President Trump is doing VERY well.

And Corey even let slip that Ohio is in the bag for President Trump!

Corey Lewandowski: Sean, our polls today internally and even in Real Clear Politics are better today than they were four years ago… And you know Sean when we looked at the battleground states, when we looked at Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan, we look where those numbers were. And four years ago Donald Trump was down by a larger margin to Hillary Clinton than he is today to Joe Biden. And today the Trafalgar Poll in Michigan showed Donald Trump with a lead. It is the first time in five years that he’s been a candidate that he’s had a lead in Michigan. He won that state four years ago by 10,704 votes. He’s going to win it by a bigger margin this time.

Corey then went on with more specifics about the actual race today.

Corey Lewandowski: Sean, we’ve got four or five different opportunities in front of us. And it’s an opportunity, a much broader field than we had four years ago. Look, we’re going to win in Arizona. As Republicans we have a voter registration advantage component in this. The Democrats aren’t talking about Texas anymore. The state of Ohio, and I shouldn’t have to say this on live TV. It’s out of play for the Democrats because all of the work and the jobs and the manufacturing that has come back there because of this president’s policies. The great white whale for Republicans has always been the state of Pennsylvania. But that’s where we are. We are not only competing in Pennsylvania we’re competing in the state of Minnesota where no Republican has won since Richard Nixon’s reelection in 1972. Donald Trump lost that state by about 45,000 votes last cycle, about a point-and-a-half. That state is trending Republican. And because of the work that he is able to do up there those people ought to come home. And Donald Trump is going to be the first president in about 50 years to win Minnesota as a Republican.

I am in MA as well, and I spoke to a coworker who I greatly admire.

He had said that originally, he wasn’t going to vote for Trump, but in the last month, he said he couldn’t vote for Biden, and would vote for Trump.

Honestly, I can understand that thought process (Anyone who reads my posts would get that I don’t have a high opinion of “undecided” voters) but he is a grand guy and it was nice to hear him say it aloud.

He is very affected by the violence, arson, and rioting across this country, and recognizes it is Biden and his allies who support it.

Thing is, he is just one guy, and no way Trump is winning this state, but I have to think there are a lot of people like my friend out there acrosss this country.

And that gives me hope.

President Trump is running adds on Univision here in CA. I don't believe he would be wasting money here if he thought it was a lost cause-especially a station that caters to a Spanish speaking audience.

Oh brother. It will be a close race Nationwide and no, Cali and Hawaii are not in play. There is ZERO evidence those two states are in play. The polls show about 30 to 35 point leads and to answer your question, no poll has ever been that wrong. If Cali was in play, Trump would be having rallies and spending money on ads in the state. He isn’t, there are a few national ads and that’s it.

So again, if you want to know which states are in play, you watch where the candidates spend their time and their money on ads. So instead of Cali, the candidates are spending their time and money in.........Georgia. If it was a landslide in the making, GA would be a safe state and Trump would be campaigning somewhere else.

You did read what Corey said? He said Trump is not as far behind as he was 4 years ago. He didn’t say he was leading.

Could be they're convinced they have the Electoral College locked up, and now they're going after the popular vote as well by running ads in the most populous state.

Trump isn’t trying to win California. He’s trying to win the popular vote and sees some opportunity amongst the Hispanics. He lost Cali by over 4 million votes and if he can cut that amount by a third, that will help. It is critical for Trump to win the popular vote - it adds legitimacy.

It's possible he's trying to win back the southern California Congressional districts that Republicans lost from ballot harvesting in 2018.

Maybe the Hispanic vote can swing some of those districts back?

Maybe it’s just me, but I think they should keep their internal polling data just among themselves. Don’t provide any info that could cause the bad guys to adjust their campaign strategy. (IMHO)
