Maybe it’s just me, but I think they should keep their internal polling data just among themselves. Don’t provide any info that could cause the bad guys to adjust their campaign strategy. (IMHO)

Pretty sure the opposition can always either run a poll or make informed inferences from their existing polling as to the opposition.
Also, the campaign for POTUS shares with the down ticket campaigns in each state, since the main campaign polls each state. Otherwise, the down ticket guys are reinventing the wheel and wasting resources.
There are too many conduits into/out of the state campaigns to keep numbers secret. I heard the state numbers for WI back in August from the Congressional candidate and, FWIW, Trump’s been up by the same # here for 2 months (4). And I am nobody in regards to this campaign, especially being new to the area. What happened is I asked, in a small campaign venue, and the candidate shared.
Strategy is universal. Everyone does the same thing (except the progs cheat more and more wildly)and everyone knows what everyone else knows, all the time.
