85 Percent of COVID-19 Patients Contracted Virus Despite ‘Always’ or ‘Often’ Wearing a Mask
Big League Politics ^ | October 12, 2020 | Shane Trejo

A recent Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) study that has been largely ignored by the fake news media indicates that wearing face masks may not do all that much to prevent individuals from contracting COVID-19. The study shows that 70.6 percent of symptomatic COVID-19 sufferers reported that they “always” wore their face diaper, but were infected anyway. An additional 14.4 percent of COVID+ respondents stated that they wore the face diaper “often” but it did not protect them from catching the China plague....Investigative journalist Jordan Schachtel notes that these findings prove CDC director Robert Redfield to be a liar while making the assertion that the face mask is “more guaranteed to protect me against COVID than when I take a COVID vaccine.”

“Protects others from the wearer.”

No, it does not, no more than a bathing suit protects others in a pool from the bathing suit wearer taking a piss.

If you dont wear one watch how the two minutes hate shrieking begins

Wear a nasal filter, filters everything a mask does and you can remove it to show a shrieker preferably with a green hanger on dangling that you are covered.

That’s a big negative and has been demonstrated again and again. Anyone who still thinks masks are beneficial is now either incapable of critical thinking or one of them.

Masks are very helpful in protection from Karens.

If masks work, then why do biolab technicians who work with these very same types of viruses wear elaborate negative pressure “spacesuits?”

I bet the technicians would love to know that they could be way more comfortable and just wear any old piece of cloth from home over their face.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t the aeroesolized particles from vaping, just that, wet, heavy, relatively large, in a molecular sense, particles, perhaps larger than a virus, that should theoretically be stopped by a mask?

On August 26th I posted this on FR: “I’ve asked before and still haven’t received an answer: what percentage of people who tested positive for COVID-19 used masks/face coverings before they were tested?” I guess I’ve finally gotten the answer.

An even bigger question is why all these years patients weren’t required to wear them while in the waiting rooms at doctor’s offices, particularly in the primary care setting inasmuch as many patients are there to be seen because they have symptoms of a respiratory illness that may be a virus that they think may have turned into bronchitis or a sinus infection. I mean, shouldn’t they have been doing so to keep the other patients who are there just for a check up safe?

Obviously people wearing masks still give others covid, the cases surged along with mask mandates.

I think masks actually made the spread worse.

Don’t quite know what the point is. That video showed the mask clearly often stopping 90+% of the aerosol and forcing it out the sides. That will clearly reduce distance forward for exhale and inhale will be through the mask, smaller molecules that can get through the mask aperatures.

So . . . I don’t get the point. The masks on that guy obviously worked. Very little went through the mask. It was all out the sides.

Protects others from the wearer.

I was the senior officer in charge of a big city Hazmat Team on my shift for years. I have quite a bit of experience with various types of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and what their limitations are. I have seen doctors berated around here for stating the facts, so I have no expectation that most here will consider my experience and knowledge to be helpful. But bio-hazards were one of the primary challenges that we trained for.

The types of masks and face coverings being used and the way they are worn do not protect the wearer or those around them... at all. This entire exercise in futility is being conducted for reasons other than protecting people from disease. Dr. Fauci is a fraud.

To me this seems like deja-vu Owen. So what about those standing next to him. The masks with exhalation valves actually increase the velocity of the exhaled microscopic particulate and aerosols. The other masks also collect viral particulate and aerosols that have been coughed up and then they are released every time a sick person takes a breath.

The damned things don’t work...because they CAN’T work. Fauci was actually correct when he initially said for people who were well to NOT use masks - that was consistent with what the CDC had found in 20 or more years of studies.

Folks, if your underwear and jeans can’t stop a fart from getting through, those flimsy masks won’t stop a virus. In both cases, the particles responsible for the unpleasantness are FAR smaller than the cloth mesh that we’re using to “stop” them.
