Well di Blasio it looks like he is planning another shutdown that will extend to locations that have no Covid-19 problems. He is aiming to close down even private schools that have no problems at all. Our grandchildren's school is one of these private schools. Our daughter in law and son are very worried and so are we. This will destroy the lives of many people unnecessarily and it is just not fair - but neither is di Blsio. Join us in this plea to God that this latest attack does not take place.

These guys are pretending to be “leaders” by taking action in crisis, but they are like Don Quixote charging wind mills.
Without a vaccine in hand, it will not end until a certain number has been exposed (frankly even a vaccine is exposing people, only with less adverse reactions). He’s just putting on a show for the masses, pretending to make decisions that are important, giving speeches.
Also, anything that keeps up the fear and keeps up the pressure right now is good for the Democrats. Maximum pain benefits them because the masses perceive the opponent as being responsible. Meanwhile they will of course claim he isn’t doing enough or mismanaged it.
Once the elections are over, Covid will disappear, ESPECIALLY if Biden gets elected. then they will want a speedy recovery and push anything Covid aside.
Covid: 30% disease, 70% politics.
I am in NY City quite often and live close to it. I meet A LOT of Urban yuppies who mouth the slogans of the Left. They are believers of various intensity, mostly until it affects them directly. These hypocrites will get what they deserve.
I know very few conservatives, who keep their mouths closed to simply get along. They are more aware of their situation. Which are your son and DIL?

Doesn’t seem to have made it on FR yet, but word is out that at Cuomo’s orders, NYC (or maybe alll NY schools) are to be shut down effective immediately. I was just at an Urgent Care facility in Bergen County NJ to pick up my negative Covid-19 test results, an nurses/staff were transfixed reading something on their newsfeed to the effect that even if you tested negative for Covid-19 you were obligated to quarantine for 14 days! We all did a double take hearing that and said WHAT???? No explanation.....haven’t seen any confirmation yet, whether it’s just NY or anywhere else.
I’d say more like 10% disease, 90% politics. But it is really outside the realm of these dichotomies altogether,to be objective about it.
It is long past time for a massive (peaceful) demonstration outside CIty Hall, or wherever this bum is ensconced, demanding he leave NOW!! Make noise!! Make it massive!
Sounds like it is finally sinking in that some of the tests have an unacceptable false negative/positive rate(s).

this is what they (democrats) are counting on. They are trying to recreate the dependent class that always vote for Democrats. I don’t believe that creating them is necessarily the answer.

I see where rentals in upstate and LI, NY are more and more difficult to be found. Many have escaped, to these areas, or surrounding states.
