But at an important moment in our nation’s history like this one, Americans look to the President of the United States to provide a response with a steady and somber tone. President Donald Trump had just stepped offstage from a rally in Bemidji, MN when a reporter asked him about Ginsburg’s death.
It was the first time he heard the news. “She just died? Wow. I didn’t know that,” he told the reporter.

I think it was 100% genuine and his honest reaction.
He is a much better man than I am!
I think he paused and prayed for just a second in the middle of that. He closed his eyes and raised his hands with palms out.
The author of the article keeps stressing that a vote for a Trump nominee will energize the Democrats, but it would energize the Republicans as well, especially the right nominee. And a failure to support Trump’s pick would definitely hurt the GOP going into the election.
