Phil is VERY particular about how jambalaya should be made. He shares his recipe in a way you won't see in any cookbook. Jase says there are three factors that guarantee success with this recipe, and the guys agree that the key to good cooking is a chef with thick skin. Al shares Jase and Willie's fast-food strategy. Phil reveals the secret to how he keeps up with the culture. And the Unashamed team talks about being generous to your neighbor and how good food and hospitality can be used to start conversations about Jesus.

Below is a link to another Jambalaya recipe that I recommend as well. I'm sure it doesn't compare to Phil's recipe, but it's easier and quicker to make. Serve with cornbread, corn-on-the-cob, french fries, etc.

nothing like jambalaya made right...
Amen!
And pass the ammunition!
In our past, settlers in the land built their cabins with firing ports cut into doors and shutters and kept their weapons hung over the door, loaded and ready. It’s looking more and more like those accouterments for the home, and degree of readiness will be coming back into style, unfortunately.
What is that???
Aunt Bethany, does your cat eat Jello?
Green jello with carrots and marshmallows. Yes. It is as hideous as it appears, but is a popular Mormon “delicacy”. No funeral or wedding is complete without it.
No wait, that’s cottage cheese not marshmallows. Not that it makes any difference.
Aunt Bethany, does your cat eat Jello?
ROTFL......I just figured out what you said.......good one
LOL!
A homeowner should be within reach of a firearm anywhere in the home he or she happens to be.
Have you ever had Jambalaya?
Oh yes. It’s much closer to Jesus than green jello salad.
Lol! I’ve never had green jello salad... But I’ll take your word on it.
I love okra. I make Gumbo a lot more then jambalaya.
Not sure what that is. It is most definitely NOT jambalaya.
Where we usually buy our freeze-dried okra: https://www.northbaytrading.com/freeze-dried-okra
My friends have more okra then they know what to do with. Three big plants that are 6’ tall. Pretty good for ohio.
I’m in heaven.
