A federal judge on Friday rejected a lawsuit by business groups and is allowing President Donald Trump to temporarily bar the entry of foreign contract workers who are hired to take the U.S. jobs needed by Americans.

The decision is a big labor rights win for American employees because it recognizes a president can use his authority under section 212(f) of federal law to block the inflow of foreign workers if they have a damaging impact on Americans’ economic circumstances.

“The court expands executive authority under 212(f) to previously unknown limits,” said a tweeted complaint from one of the lawyers who helps to import the foreign workers for U.S. jobs.

In the next 4 years of Trump (God willing) we need to have the Justice Department inflict stiff penalties against these liberal judges who DON’T proceed Constitutionally.

I’m glad this one got it right.

Americans FIRST, not last.

How could any American working in one of these jobs sectors vote for anyone but Trump? Biden the globalist guy would not have protected American jobs like Trump has.

Not the lawyer, but check out the judge (from the comments):

"Amit Priyavadan Mehta is a United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia...appointed by Barack Obama"

Given that Mehta is an Obama appointee, this decisions seems likely to survive appeal.

With the exception of a few Bush judges you can easily predict the outcome of any court case based on who appointed thw judge. The problem with firing “bad” judges is the next tine Democrats control the government they will use the same technique to eliminate conservative or “controversial” judges.

"the next tine Democrats control the government they will use the same technique to eliminate conservative or “controversial” judges."

And this is the reason Repubs are said to be cheap folding suits, they never want to do anything that might upset someone.

Got news for you: the Dems already do this!

Perhaps Mehta doesn’t want the jobs exported, but the foreigners IMported.

I thought the State Department was letting them return, ignoring Trump.

“The court rejects the Plaintiffs’ statutory and constitutional challenges to the Proclamations … [and] the court concludes that the Plaintiffs are not likely to succeed on their challenges to the Proclamations,” said the 85-page decision by Judge Amit Mehta, at the U.S. District Court in Washington D.C. [...] the business lawyers “demand for a “rational justification” and a “rational investigation” far exceeds what the [Supreme] Court in Trump v. Hawaii required for a valid presidential “finding.”

Woo-hoo!

It’s a start. President Trump needs to commit to the following. This year its the Deplorable against the Despicable.

The Deplorable want a Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement bill, missing since 1986 ONE TIME amnesty. Since that amnesty was granted already, a second amnesty is off the table. What remains is the enforcement the Democrats have disallowed since then.

The List of Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement, missing since 1986 goes like this -
1) southern barrier;
2) require eVerify to hire;
3) end all chain migration;
4) birthright per Minor v. Happersett (plural parents);
5) end work visas;
6) 10-year moratorium on all new applications for citizenship (40 years to allow workplace automation effects on downsizing population);
7) Set up an illegal aliens’ victim restitution fund.

Enactment of these provisions will motivate illegal aliens to SELF-deport, and remove colonizadors from our welfare rolls.

We need to pass these protections in order not to make out Democrats as liars who promised the protection in exchange for a ONE TIME AMNESTY. The Democrats got the amnesty already. Now its past time for the protections we were promised.

I am not aware of any judge being removed for any reason. I would like to see Sullivan, Gen. Flynn’s judge removed. But doing so could set a president that liberals could use to remove huge numbers of “controversial,” (code for conservative) judges. Thus it is better to let the judicial system police its own.

They’ll do that anyway, and have already talked about it.

Nonetheless, Judges who act unconstitutionally should face consequences.
