Over the last few weeks, as protests and riots have continued, I decided to stop blindly accepting the media’s reporting and to get out and see what was actually going on at the rampant protests.

Let me start by saying that I don’t advocate everyone doing this…I’m a trained professional with over 20 years of investigations experience. I do want to share the interesting findings and make a few recommendations to everyone, though.

Finding #1: Most of the guys at the protests are out to hook up with social justice chicks and get laid.

Thought it was funny he called the Battleboard a notebook, which nowadays everyone takes to mean a portable computer. This one isn’t, it’s just a “notebook”.

Interesting comment from a guy named "Begemot"...
Ethan may very well be FBI or DHS. There is a long history of the state using agent provocateurs to influence the opposition. During the ’60s many of those individuals advocating violent action in the student movement were FBI. Why? Violence, while it is appealing to some, has a negative effect on most. A way to discredit a cause in the minds of the majority is to make the cause seem synonymous with violence.

The current troubles started with protests against police violence. Quickly these demonstrations turned violent. Now the police violence issue has been replaced with the majority of people looking TO the police for protection rather than looking AT the police critically.

The greatest violence has occurred in Democrat run cities. Does this do the Democrats credit? No. What has been happening is the public view of these protests is turning increasingly negative, the Democrats are being tarred with this, and Trump is gaining in approval. So, cui bono? How many of these agents provocateurs are working for the Republicans?

I've wondered about this aspect as well. I recall during the days of the SDS the FBI had infiltrated them as well.

However, I do believe the majority of these blm/antifa types are legit believers.

Confirmation of what I and probably many others have long surmised. There is a corps of professional Revolutionaries like Leninists. This is not going to end until there is a confrontation between a regular Army unit and the revolutionaries on the street that makes some of them dead. Then it will go underground for a while but this is different from before. It is a permanent Revolutionary cabal that will continue to grow new cells no matter what happens to them unless/until all of them are dead. The Communists think this one will be the real winner because the US has reached the level of capitalist wealth that is supposed to be the stage that the Revolution is meant to destroy. Communists froom Marx and Engels have known that communism cannot build an industrial society and have proved it in Russia. They have toleech from the capitalists or conquer them when they have built a highly developed economy that the Communists can continue. In Russia Lenin was premature. Russia was still a backwater only at the barest beginning of development. In China the same but China got the benefit of American capitalist financing of Communisst development and American knowhow being given to them by the Clintons (Loral and missile tech) and the HiTech sector eager for Chinese sales and Chinese monopoly protectioin. 330000 Chinese spies in all of our universities and science programs provide them a boost, too.

But once the Revolution has overcome and conquered the Capitalist Engine of Prosperity, development will necessarily reverse, even in China. Moslems and Communists cannot build or maintain prosperity.

Honestly, they’re such a bunch of beta males, and the Antifa chicks seem to be a bunch of tattooed SJW fatties - probably not so much. JMHO

His intellegence gathering should evolve to counter intellegence.

Surveil the security operatives; how did they arrive, how did they leave, where did they roost after the action, where is their home base?

Gather information so each can be removed when away from their support team.

He's right. They are centrally planned and use much of the same "security" teams to do counter-intelligence. IE, they want to control what is see and photoed.

They are very organized, well funded and well trained.

Your average American protest consists of people marching around carrying signs and sloganeering mixed with a few speakers. There is some loose organization to the event, but that's about it. And of course, there is some spontaneity to the event, although this is not always the case.

But, these are not true protests, at least as your average American views protests. Most protests do not have teams of "medics" (which they aren't), nor do they have a need for security (which they aren't) since the average protest isn't about breaking things and causing mayhem (i.e. no one there is going to force a need for medics or security). As the article states, these are very organized "protests"/riots, which includes a bunch of people that are participating to cause serious trouble.

We've let the Leftists hijack the idea of protests to now allow a level of violence which should not be tolerated, since this violence moves the event from a protest to a riot. I don't think protesting should ever be banned, of course, but I think a stigma needs to be placed on the riots and the people that participate in them (Antifa, BLM, etc.).

It was the same back in the days of the anti Vietnam war protests. Wear a Che tee shirt and speak a little Mao and it was easy to connect. I’m not proud of those days being a life long Libertarian but I was seldom lonely.

Sounds like they self-identify by showing up early.

By trying to follow J.D. back to his vehicle, they make themselves vulnerable.

It would be interesting to see what their mode of transportation involves.

I saw a couple of posts suggesting this guy could be a plant, but why would he care so much about ferreting out people who didn’t “look like they belonged?”

Yeah, if true how does this translate to the violent nighttime protests? It may be run differently.

Counter-intelligence. Or Counter-counter-intelligence.

You have to fit in if you are a spy. Or double-spy.

I seem to recall from my earlier russian study days there was a large Soviet company and everyone at or near the top turned out to be KGB or GRU or other state security.
