U.S. Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) falsely called Kyle Rittenhouse a “white supremacist” and “domestic terrorist” in this tweet: (original, archive)
The tweet states:
“A 17 year old white supremacist domestic terrorist drove across state lines, armed with an AR 15.”
“He shot and killed 2 people who had assembled to affirm the value, dignity, and worth of Black lives.”
“Fix your damn headlines.”
First of all, Rittenhouse is not a “domestic terrorist.” All three of the people whom he shot, were shot in self defense. The proof is in this video:

Secondly, Rittenhouse is not a “white supremacist.” All three of the people whom he shot were white.
And thirdly, the “protestors” who assembled at the car dealership were not there to “affirm the value, dignity, and worth of Black lives.” Other car dealerships had already been burned down, and these ‘protestors” were planning to burn down this one too.
