A strong majority of 59% of voters believe that the country has yet to see the worst of the virus, while just 20% believe the worst effects of it are behind us. I’ve been saying this for a few months.
The worst media reaction will target October to get the fear really stoked.
Regardless who wins in November, it ends after that. Hopefully Trump wins and people say enough of this and we go back to normal. If Biden wins, expect the media to drop it like a dead cat and say everything has been solved therefore we end up going back to normal.

The correct approach turns out to be a combination of Florida and Sweden. Lock down the old folks, get the young out there building immunity.

I’m not worried about getting the virus and surviving nor are many I know in my age group.
This has been a scamdemic from the start. No lockdowns or flattening the curve were necessary, at all.
What this amounts to is Karens, and their pitiable spouses (Darrens?) have been having fun for MONTHS “sheltering” at home with Netflix and day-drinking while receiving “enhanced” unemployment benefits. They’ll bleat on and on about their “fear” of the virus, but they’re having the time of their life and never, ever want it to end.

What’s depressing them is the knee-jerk, politicized overreactions...that is having far more deleterious effect than the bug itself.
I suspect a lot of those polled weren’t referring to the disease when they thought of the term “worst,” but were thinking of the response (to what?) and its impact on our lives and our economy. In this case, the “cure” is worse than the disease.
They are right.
When Trump wins the virus is going to kick into high gear and shut down everything.
