Hasn’t happened as far as I can tell. Nothing on Fox news. All concerned more with Trump and Isaiasassassa.
Well it’s a port so there’s all kinds of stuff that can go boom like fuel or fertilizers, oil, etc.
I don’t even see that as an explosives cache going up. That is something else.
The condensation (Wilson cloud) from the blast wave is impressive, but it clears quickly and reveals what looks like an ordinary depot explosion.
It must be a humid day.
Whatever the case, job ONE is to get as far away from that toxic cloud as possible.. Great time to have a gas mask though.

Beirut blast: Explosion rocks city ahead of Hariri verdict
A large blast has hit the Lebanese capital, Beirut, ahead of the verdict in a trial over the killing of ex-PM Rafik Hariri in 2005.
Reports say the explosion was in the port area of the city, with unconfirmed reports of a second blast. The authorities fear many casualties.
Video posted online showed a large mushroom cloud and extensive damage.
A UN tribunal is due to issue its verdict in the trial of four suspects in the murder by car bomb of Hariri.
All four are members of the Iranian-backed Hezbollah group, which has consistently denied any role in Hariri's death. The verdict is due on Friday.
The possible second explosion was reported to be at the Hariri residence in the city.
Lebanon's health minister has spoken of many injuries and extensive damage.
Local media showed people trapped beneath rubble. A witness described the first explosion as deafening.
The cause of the blast is not yet clear.
The latest reports come amid political tension in Lebanon, with street demonstrations against the government's handling the worst economic crisis since the 1975-1990 civil war.

I’m not saying it is related but the Israelis have been doing mock air attacks over Beirut for weeks. They must suspect something.
I seriously doubt that is propane, but my question is how much nitrates were stored on site. Not an expert, but my guess is multiple tons. BTW Fireworks and munitions would both use various nitrates in their construction. E.G. Potassium Nitrate; Sodium Nitrate (unlikely); Ammonium Nitrate.

It does look like fireworks at the beginning, but something else went boom from the looks of it.
I kind of doubt the people videoing this were expecting much more. I sure hope there’s not too many injuries from the broken, flying glass. That’s nasty.
The hospitals are going to be overwhelmed with this one.
Lots of secondary pops before the big one. It looked like small arms ammo burning off. The Boom!
